I personally think that this (referring to emptiness) is to dispel the conceptual minds that cling to things and non-things as real foundations, thinking that emptiness is a thing that has a real existence, or that emptiness has the function of a non-existent thing. As the 'Praise of the Transcendent' says: In order to destroy all conceptualizations, you have proclaimed the nectar of emptiness. Whoever has attachment to anything, you rebuke them. Also, as the 'Inquiry of Light' says: Light, those who aim at emptiness and cling to emptiness, they are completely lost from my scriptures. Light, it is better for those who cling to the view of self as Mount Sumeru, but it is not so for those who are arrogant and cling to emptiness. Why is that? Light, the cause of all views is emptiness, Light, those who only cling to emptiness, I say they are incurable. Light, for example, if there is a sick person, and after giving him medicine, the medicine can drive away all his diseases, but the medicine stays in his stomach and does not come out, Light, what do you think? Can this person be freed from the disease? He replied: World Honored One, he cannot be freed, because the medicine can drive away all diseases, but the medicine stays in his stomach and does not come out, this person's digestive disease will become very serious. The World Honored One said: Light, similarly, the cause of all views is only emptiness, Light, those who only cling to emptiness, I say they are incurable. Also, as the 'Heap of Jewels Sutra' says: Clinging to the view of self like Mount Sumeru will not cause harm, but clinging to emptiness will cause harm, because arrogance is examining what is not real. Yogis should not apply emptiness to non-places. If it is applied to non-places, it is like drinking nectar and turning it into poison. No matter how many kinds of views there are, for all beings, in order to abandon these views, the principle of emptiness is proclaimed. Even if the principle of emptiness is heard, if some people's views have not disappeared, then they have incurable views, just like a doctor giving medicine to a patient. Therefore, when refuting the great yogi of the Jonangpa school, it is considered that other-emptiness is real.

The view is also the same. At the time of subsequent discrimination, clinging to truth, the Gelugpas believe that in both co-emergent and subsequent situations, in addition to relying on dependent origination and imputation, they also strongly cling to the emptiness of form, which is refuted by reasoning, as other-empty and without self-nature. This is like a patient abandoned by a doctor, because they are said to have a view that cannot be cured by the nectar of the supreme Dharma of the Great Physician, the Complete and Perfect Buddha, who eliminates all diseases of the two obscurations. Fifth, it is divided into: the basis of the dharma, and the way and necessity of emptiness. First, sentient beings and the container world are completely pervasive, and because of the infinite metaphors, there is no limit, so the directions are all great. The ten directions are all great, because there is no container-sentient world that exists apart from the directions, so sentient beings, that is, beings and the container world, are completely pervasive. Moreover, if one meditates on love and so on in each of the ten directions, because it is a practice that cuts off all directions, it exists with infinite metaphors, so there is no limit. Second, these ten directions, all directions, what is emptiness is great, the great emptiness is said to be, to prevent clinging to greatness. These ten directions, all directions, what is emptiness with their own nature, that is the great emptiness, in order to prevent those who think that each direction is an infinite and pervasive real substance like the Great自在天, (343a) so it is said in this way. Sixth, that is the most supreme necessity, it is the ultimate peace, that with that emptiness what, that is the ultimate emptiness, in order to prevent the thought of real things in peace, therefore, with the ultimate knowledge of the ultimate, emptiness is declared. Nirvana is the ultimate Nirvana, because "Paramārtha (藏文,梵文天城体:परमार्थ,梵文罗马拟音:paramārtha,汉语字面意思:Ultimate meaning)" in "Parama" means supreme or supreme, "Artha" means meaning, that is, fruit, necessity and realm, so Nirvana is the supreme of all the needs of the person, therefore, Nirvana is with that emptiness what, that is the ultimate emptiness, in order to prevent people with the thought of real things in Nirvana, therefore, with the ultimate knowledge of the ultimate, emptiness is declared. Nirvana is the ultimate Nirvana, things and non-things, and both are or are not
