Furthermore, from the perspective of refutation, even without encountering fire, if it can dispel darkness, then what exists here that can dispel darkness from all realms of the world? Thus it is said. Fourthly, to lead all things to realize that they are without substance is the easiest thing to do. Just as it is, it is not easy to comprehend other natures. Why bind this world with the net of evil discriminations? By the example of illusions, dreams, images, etc., which are established in the world itself, to lead all things of samsara and nirvana to realize that they are without substance is the easiest thing to do. Just as it is, it is not easy for others to comprehend that things have inherent existence, and there is no way to grasp it, because there is no well-known example for both to establish it in that way. Therefore, even if you are cursed by someone for the sake of harming the reputation of the world, you yourself are wrapped in the cocoon of discrimination like silk by innate afflictions, and you are caught in the net of the web of evil discriminations of pervasive imputation. Why should this world, which was previously mistaken about things, now be bound by clinging to reality? Even if it is not bound, it has been bound by clinging to elaboration since beginningless time. After being bound, it is madly spinning in the violent waves of the ocean of suffering in samsara, which is pitiful. Therefore, the argument that my Madhyamaka reasoning is irrefutable is unreasonable and should be abandoned. Therefore, there is no valid perception or inference that takes as its object the assumption that all things of samsara and nirvana are established in such a way as to be able to perform a function, because the nature of its object of measurement, its own character and general character, is not (316b) established, just like an image. Well, if direct perception is not examined, there is only one thing that is generally known in the world to be in accordance with reality, and that is the omniscient wisdom itself. If it is not established, then it should be established. Because that valid cognition is separate from all self-awareness and other-awareness in any aspect of the object and the subject. In the commentary, it is said: That also exists conventionally by following the scriptures. It can be said in this way, but it is recorded that it does not exist as a thing in itself, which is not the view of Master Chandrakirti, because of the law of reason.

If everything can be established in conventional terms, then omniscient wisdom can also be established. If it cannot, then in conventional terms, one cannot prevent elaboration on all dharmas, or one must assume that even in conventional terms, omniscient wisdom is not real. Fifth, the remainder of refutation, previously shown, should also be known. In order to answer debates on encounters, etc., it is given here. How refutation proceeds, the debater also does not exist. As previously said, the remainder should be understood by this side. Therefore, for those who believe that things are established by their own nature, showing the dependent arising that demonstrates the selflessness of phenomena, and the imputation that demonstrates the selflessness of persons, and the negation of the four extremes of arising, and the sevenfold analysis, etc., the remainder of refutation, previously shown, should also be known, that is, remembered, whether cause and effect arise from encounter or non-encounter, etc. In order to refute, there is no arising in the four extremes, and the sevenfold reasoning cannot be found, so examining encounter and non-encounter cannot refute, but without examining, in order to eliminate others' wrong conceptions (317a), refutation, here also, the refutation should be distinguished and stated. Examining the four extremes and the seven aspects, and encounter and non-encounter, etc., arising, finding, and refutation cannot be established, but in the conventional terms of non-examination, arising, finding, and refutation are not contradictory. How refutation proceeds, the debater also does not exist, only eliminating others' conceptions that do not conform to reality, rather than establishing one's own side and eliminating the other side, because no object to be eliminated is observed. The definition of things made by the non-Buddhist Foot-Eyed School, because it becomes a pervasive and correct definition, can be established even if no one establishes their own doctrine, and that which has become pervasive, the other side that has not become pervasive must be eliminated, that is, eliminated, not dependent on others. As such, after admitting substantial entities, it is unreasonable to argue how refutation proceeds, because in that case, the opposite of the elimination of the other side is also not present in one's own system, because it has become existent from the statement. We Madhyamikas are refuting the other side how
