Furthermore, even so, stating the probans (hetu, reason) in conventional terms, but considering it merely established or not established in conventional terms, is the difference between the Prāsaṅgika and Svātantrika schools. The mind that grasps the establishment of the probans and probandum (sādhya, thesis) in conventional terms, even in the Svātantrika system, will naturally be reversed by the power of the assembly that has become accustomed to the view of the Middle Way. Therefore, when the Prāsaṅgika seeks that very nature in conventionality by relying on conventional truth, it is not that in conventionality he engages in refutation and establishment with a valid cognition that enters by the force of things, and then performs refutation and establishment to seek that very nature. For even in mere conventionality, there is no dharma that enters by the force of things, nor its valid cognition, but following only some conventionality as it is temporarily known to the world and those who speak of the scriptures, in order to eliminate the perverted clinging to appearances that the realists have falsely imputed as being different from that very nature, such as conventional truth, he eliminates the perverted clinging to appearances that are established by the dharma that enters by the force of things in both truths and by valid cognition. Therefore, although there is no system of probans and probandum in one's own system based on the two truths, it is the system of the Prāsaṅgika to express refutation and establishment in accordance with the world in order to eliminate what others have imputed. Although there is no probans and probandum in one's own system based on ultimate truth, it is the system of the Svātantrika to express a special refutation and establishment that eliminates the imputation of others with a valid system of probans and probandum based on conventionality in order to seek that very nature. Thus, he advised as the life force. In short, the Prāsaṅgika believes that all conventional objects are empty of their respective functions, and that there is no valid cognition that establishes them as objects. If one strives to establish the dharma that enters by the force of things and its valid cognition, one will not only fall away from the way of ultimate truth, but also from the way of conventional truth. For conventional truth is merely what worldly people believe to be true and establish by clinging to it in a mistaken state. If one examines its truthfulness, one prevents the object of that truth from being true in both truths, and the valid cognition that establishes it as true. The Svātantrika, on the other hand, is different from this. Conventional objects are not established by valid cognition in the ultimate sense, and all

那么是什么呢?”, "english_translation": "When analyzing conventional phenomena with reason, if one acknowledges that one of its branches, such as a single moon, exists by virtue of its own power and is established by valid cognition (pramāṇa), while another branch, such as two moons, does not exist by virtue of its own power and is not established by valid cognition, then because of this distinction, this view of the Svātantrika-Madhyamaka school cannot fully satisfy the intention of the perfectly enlightened Buddha and the great master Nāgārjuna. As the Prasannapadā states: "Because you are not skilled in the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, (87a) therefore, placing reasoning in the conventional will destroy it through unreason. I am skilled in establishing the conventional truth, therefore I abide in the worldly aspect itself. The reasoning set forth to eliminate one aspect of the conventional is refuted by other reasoning. Like the elders of the world, only you are refuted for falling away from the customs of the world, not the conventional. Therefore, if it is a worldly expression, then it must, like its definition, undoubtedly become the object to be defined. Therefore, it will become the same fault." Thus it is said. Therefore, the Prāsaṅgikas do not assert that if something established by reasoning in the conventional is established there by a valid cognition that arises from the power of the object itself, then the conventional truth would also become the ultimate truth. However, in name, the master (Nāgārjuna) says that the conventional arrangement, which is merely imputed in accordance with the world based on mere relativity, should be temporarily regarded by those who desire liberation as a basis for acceptance and rejection. As the Prasannapadā states: "Similarly, if analyzed, there is no entity of earth and so forth that is different from hardness and so forth, nor is there a definition that is independent of the entity. Even so, this exists conventionally. Therefore, the master establishes it as established through the means of mere mutual dependence. This must undoubtedly be accepted as such, for if it is not, then is the conventional not endowed with reasoning? Then (87b) this would become the ultimate, not the conventional. If analyzed by reasoning, it is not impossible to say 'it is not possible that there are only cats.' So what is it?

When analyzing conventional phenomena with reason, if one acknowledges that one of its branches, such as a single moon, exists by virtue of its own power and is established by valid cognition (pramāṇa), while another branch, such as two moons, does not exist by virtue of its own power and is not established by valid cognition, then because of this distinction, this view of the Svātantrika-Madhyamaka school cannot fully satisfy the intention of the perfectly enlightened Buddha and the great master Nāgārjuna.
