Because of clinging to one's own view and being hostile to the views of others, these are all misperceptions of things. Therefore, if this misperception is not eliminated, liberation cannot be attained. This Dharma is not for the sake of argument. Therefore, eliminating attachment and anger towards oneself and others, and analyzing the nature of things with a desire to understand the truth, one will quickly attain liberation. The Sixty Stanza Reasoning states: 'The great master of non-contention, for them there is no पक्ष (Tibetan), for those who have no पक्ष (Tibetan), where is the other side पक्ष (Tibetan)?' Also, The Hundred Stanza Reasoning states: 'If you are attached to your own side and dislike the other side, you will not go to Nirvana, and dualistic practices will never be pacified.' Also, The Sutra Pitaka states: 'If one hears this Dharma and becomes attached, and hears non-Dharma and becomes angry, destroyed by pride and arrogance, one will suffer because of pride.' Therefore, abandoning obvious attachments, and relying on the classification of the two truths, which are universally recognized in the world, as explained by the noble Nagarjuna, with a desire for liberation, merely relying on dependent origination can become the cause of liberation. Therefore, one must study it and research it. In the view of the noble ones, merely dependent origination, relying on it, the freedom of liberation also transcends complete Nirvana and cannot be expressed in any other way. Therefore, all that is to be obtained, the method of obtaining, and the result of obtaining are not truly existent. At that time, it cannot be said that they do not exist either. It cannot be said that existence and non-existence are dual, nor can it be said that they are non-dual, or both dual and non-dual. Therefore, do not think, cling, or strive anywhere, but remain equally in this unadulterated, natural, and great state. At that time, all phenomena that arise, whether internal or external, of the six consciousnesses and their corresponding objects, must be understood in their nature of emptiness with their respective discriminating wisdom and mindfulness. Just as snow falls on a stone, appearance is emptiness, sound is emptiness, awareness is emptiness, and by gazing in this way, one can achieve liberation through gazing. This profound and vast instruction on the view and practice of Madhyamaka, the unbroken lifeline of the glorious Dagpo Kagyu, the oral transmission of the Karma Kagyu, like lighting one lamp from another, is the teaching of the yogi Jetsun Mianpa, the accomplished one.

It was easily obtained due to his kindness. This way of Madhyamaka view and meditation that I have explained well (270a), the venerable Manjushri once instructed Tsongkhapa the Great, saying that for each of the two truths, all four extremes such as existence and non-existence are negated, and the unborn is proven. This kind of thing is a great wrong view. After negating existence and saying it is non-existence, then negating non-existence and proving existence; negating two and then proving non-two, and negating non-two and then proving two, this is truly understood by two negations, contradicting one's own words. All these meanings do not thoroughly understand the meaning of emptiness, so the early Tibetan Kadampa's Madhyamaka school of existence and non-existence, non-existence and non-non-existence, is just as wrong as the view and meditation of the Chinese Heshang. He taught in this way and made extensive post-teachings. Changra Gelekpa also said: My omniscient master's Madhyamaka view and meditation is something that Marpa, Dromi, the new and old mantras, Dzogchen, Chod, and the pacifiers, all those who came to the snowy land before had never thought of. The Madhyamaka view and meditation of the previous schools have fallen into the great extremes of permanence and annihilation. Although they extensively establish tenets, I do not think it is true. Because the early Kadampa's Madhyamaka view and meditation were explained, debated, and written, and the three activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating were performed, and the venerable Gampopa, who became wise, virtuous, and excellent, and Khrophu Lotsawa Jampa Pal, the three supreme masters of the Sakya school, Phadampa Sangye (India), Zhang Yudrakpa, Buton Rinpoche, and the venerable Redawa, etc., all of them are also said to be emanations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas (270b) great beings. Even if they are not emanations, how can there be faults in the view and meditation of all those who have walked the great path of Sutra and Tantra and attained the great ground of accomplishment? That school has not the slightest stain of error. Therefore, all those who follow them do not need to be discouraged, saying that this view is Tsongkhapa the Great's view with errors. This is the venerable Naropa's emanation, Paldan Drukpa Gyare, foreseeing what will happen in the future, with the vajra.
