If it is said that way, all dharmas will become causeless. In that case, it would contradict the cause and effect of interdependent origination's arising and ceasing. All dharmas arise from interdependent origination. If it is admitted that arising has no basis from the beginning, it would also contradict one's own words. Saying this is like, in the context of the root and commentary of this treatise, the great teacher Chandrakirti explaining the extremely fearless profound meaning, which you are just muddling up, and doing so is unreasonable. From the beginning, by the power of emptiness, for any elaboration, all the objects of wisdom's activity, in the face of the equality of the realm and the one who is in the realm of quiescence, for the sake of the reason of emptiness and interdependent dharmas and dharmata, and all the view, meditation, path, and result of Madhyamaka are also quiescent, at that time, no matter who sees the arising and ceasing of interdependent origination, and what is seen, even if it contradicts it, it doesn't matter. We Madhyamikas do not conform to those narrow-minded worldly people who only speak of tenets, but conform to the fame of the world from ordinary beings to the post-attainment of the tenth ground. Because all dharmas are emptiness, interdependent origination and the two truths are established. When proclaiming to others, just as a child manifests interdependent arising, at that time, although it does not arise with its own nature, what appears there is the deluded arising and ceasing. Such arising of arising and ceasing, nowhere does it arise with the nature of arising and ceasing, so when examined, it cannot be said to have arisen. Interdependent non-arising is in the realm of the samadhi of the noble ones. For this, the delusion of interdependent origination's arising and ceasing is also seen from the beginning as being separated from the root of arising, and one arising has become non-arising. It is not being spoken there, so where would there be a situation that contradicts what one has said? You Madhyamikas prevent the arising of real phenomena from no cause, but speak of interdependent arising in name, and this is also using the falsehood of language to cover up interdependent origination, and in reality, you do not want to abandon the clinging to the real entity of arising and ceasing in name, but pretend to pursue the high position of Madhyamika. Even so, if examined on the two truths, whoever says that the real entity of interdependent origination's arising and ceasing exists, those are the realists.

As Master Chandrakirti stated, only when analyzing, the arising of permanence, etc., is prevented, but the arising of dependent origination, etc., is not prevented. That is, when analyzing, it is established that the sound of conditioned phenomena is impermanent, but it is not established on the sound of unconditioned phenomena. What is the point of saying that? When we do not analyze, worldly people say that dependent origination has arising and ceasing, and they are arrogant. Even so, that is not expressed in the manner of the Madhyamaka school. Therefore, let those who are full of intense emotions abide in the great compassion of extreme peace. Like that, when turning the wheel of Dharma, it is shown that all phenomena are unborn. This is praising the Bhagavan through stating excellent qualities, a praise made by the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin. The third is: These pots, etc., do not exist in themselves, just as they are widely known in the world. Similarly, since all things arise from causes and conditions, it will not be the same as the child of a barren woman. One's own schools, the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika, argue that if things do not exist in ultimate reality, then they will not exist in conventional reality either, which is irrefutable. According to your view, these pots and forests, etc., are all conventionally established, so they do not exist in ultimate reality, but they are widely known in the world. What is destroyed, and what is eliminated by wisdom in another way, if wisdom cannot accept that, like a pot and water, it exists in conventional reality, but it exists differently in ultimate reality. Just as it is admitted that coarse things are established as existing, similarly, if one analyzes forms, etc., even if they do not exist, in the common parlance of the world, without analysis, naturally, all things (260b) will appear. Therefore, if they do not exist in themselves, then in conventional reality they will be like the son of a barren woman, and it will not be a fault of being completely non-existent. That is not the same, because the basis of establishment for pots, etc., the four elements such as earth, etc., exist as real substances. Therefore, with that cause, the pot that is established as a pot exists conventionally as a result. However, according to the Madhyamaka view, all phenomena are only parts of establishment, so the substance of its cause does not exist at all. If one thinks that all of that will be like the son of a barren woman, and the fault cannot be avoided, that is unreasonable, because it is not possible to establish that the basis of establishment, earth, etc., exists as a real substance. As the Four Hundred Verses says: Without forms, etc., just as a pot cannot exist, similarly, without wind, etc., form
