Because Kagba's view of truth has not even a little bit of ground, the metaphor is established. Similarly, to slander the omniscient, and to say that things exist, do not exist, the Lord, earth, dust, nature, and essence are the cause, in short, from the Lokayata to the Vijnanavada, each has mixed them up in a reversed way with their own thoughts. Therefore, it should be known that such a mixer is a person with reversed views. As it is said: When preventing the perfect Buddha, one should realize that one's own nature of knowable is seen as reversed. Because the form of his view is the same as the support. Whenever one admits that there is a nature of arising, it is the same. Thus, one wants to refute all views of existence and non-existence. Therefore, even if we do not examine it at some times, it will contradict the fame of the two truths. If you examine it, you will not get any unpleasantness of self-contradictory words. Because if you enter the worldly terms, you will speak as the world says; if you think about the situation, because you have blocked the existence and have not taken the side of non-existence, and you have blocked the non-existence and have not taken the side of existence, you are freed from all disputes. Therefore, the wise should completely transform, and it should be determined that this verse has eliminated all the sects established by the inner and outer logicians. Because the net of all thoughts is blocked, it is obvious that one wants to establish the ultimate wisdom. If you say that there is too much fault there, it is not so, because I say that I am establishing upside down, so there is no metaphor. Moreover, because I have realized that the reality of things is free from reversal at all times. As it is said: When the world knows that others know that it exists, I should realize that the nature of knowable is the view of the ultimate truth. Because the form of my view is the same as the support. Whenever one admits to knowing selflessness, it is the same. And, when it is known that this is the existence of the omniscient, we should also say it by analogy. If the four births of the cause are blocked, then will its effect also become causeless? If you ask this, we enter the conduct of cause and effect.

Where, regarding the arising of cause and effect, one does not examine from which of the four extremes it arises, (255b) but follows the mere name of cause and effect that appears in illusion, in order to accept and reject the higher realms and definite goodness of desirable and undesirable good and bad, and their opposites. For example, like acting virtuously in a dream. When the Madhyamikas negate that all phenomena have inherent existence, they do not negate acceptance and rejection in conventional terms. The reason is that, for that very reason, they do not say that all phenomena are utterly nonexistent, and because they are not utterly nonexistent. When searching for the inherent existence of existence or non-existence in those phenomena, not even a little inherent existence is found. Therefore, in the separate cognitions of illusion and non-illusion of noble and ordinary beings, the two truths and the mode of dependent arising, that is, the excellent path of the Middle Way, are in accordance with reason and cannot be disputed. Whether it arises from that itself, why look from elsewhere? How can it be from both, or without a cause? Therefore, whatever is vowed is thoroughly established. The third is: Because arising from self, other, or both, and because things do not exist without relying on causes, phenomena are devoid of inherent existence. Therefore, if there is an inherently existent arising, it is impossible to conceive of it arising from anything other than the four extremes. Even if it is thought to arise from Ishvara (自在天) etc., it can only arise from one of the four extremes; it cannot arise from a fifth extreme. Therefore, phenomena are devoid of inherent existence, because arising from self, other, or both, and because arising without relying on causes does not exist, therefore. Second, refuting contradictions with what is seen, and refuting the argument that if there is no inherent existence, then existence in conventional terms is also contradictory. (256a) First, the way non-wise people see due to the power of ignorance, and the way wise people do not see. First, things and non-things, refuting the contradiction between seeing them. The first is: Whoever covers the world with thick ignorance like clouds, then, for those who have attachment to appearances, the objects of perception will appear as inverted. If it is said that blue things etc. have not arisen and will not become objects, even if they are not apprehended, they often appear in front of us, what is that? The objects of perception are not seen as they are in their inherent nature, but appear inverted to those who have attachment to appearances.
