Thus, the perfectly established reality of unchanging nature is reasonable for that which is not fabricated by causes and conditions. For other-powered phenomena fabricated by causes and conditions, their perfectly established nature is merely a complete imputation. The meaning of the sutra stating that complete imputation is non-existent and other-powered phenomena are existent is that other-powered phenomena exist like an illusion of dependent origination without investigating existence or non-existence, because they exist nominally without investigation. The complete imputation that does not accord with the innate worldly fame fabricated by self and other schools (251a) does not exist, because it is only considered to be true, and therefore not established even nominally. Furthermore, it is also unreasonable for the Mind-Only school to say that other-powered phenomena are substantially existent, and that complete imputation is non-existent in meaning but existent nominally, because the substantial existence of other-powered phenomena has already been refuted, and the two objects of grasping and the grasper, which are considered to be completely imputed, do not exist apart from the nature of other-powered phenomena, because they are known as the functional dependent origination and compounded phenomena that exist nominally. The complete imputation that you accept, the complete imputation that there is a non-fabricated nature of the characteristic essence for it, is not established even nominally. Furthermore, the sutra says: The characteristic of complete imputation is without essence, the arising of other-powered phenomena is without essence, and the ultimate reality of perfect establishment is without essence. The meaning of what is said is very reasonable according to the three essences spoken of by the Madhyamikas, because complete imputation, like a rabbit's horn, is not established by valid cognition even nominally, and other-powered phenomena, like an illusion, do not arise from their own nature but depend on causes and conditions, and perfect establishment is also the nature of emptiness even nominally, so it is also without essence, and because it is not deceptive, it is also established ultimately. Established ultimately, because it is not deceptive, this is also established only conventionally without investigation, but if investigated, the ultimate is separated from both deception and non-deception (251b), then it is necessary to think about how it is established. According to the Mind-Only school, other-powered phenomena also do not become without the essence of arising, because they have promised to arise ultimately. The third is: Explaining the reasoning of refutation. Conclusion. Also showing other ways of refutation. The first is:

That arising from both is not the nature of reason either, because those faults already mentioned will fall upon it. The naked ascetics say: External and internal things arise from both self and other, for example, when a pot arises from a lump of clay, mud, wheel, rope, water, and potter, the clay and the pot are not other, and the potter and wheel etc. are other than the pot. Similarly, internal things also arise from both self and other, because things exist in nine meanings such as life and non-life, Maitreya Bodhisattva also has the nature of life in other lives, so he will take this birth, life has feet, so through walking itself, it is considered to go to other places such as gods, Maitreya Bodhisattva also arises from others such as parents, Dharma and non-Dharma, and afflictions. Therefore, preventing self-arising and other-arising does not harm us, because we have not promised to arise only from one of self and other. Arising from both self and other is not the nature of reason either, because the faults already mentioned will fall on both sides, and if it arises from that, then there is no merit at all. And so on, and relying on others, (252a) if another arises, then pitch-black darkness will also arise from the flame. And so on, the fault has already been mentioned. Second, this is neither the world nor the ultimate truth that is recognized, arising from both, this is neither arising from the conventional world nor from the ultimate truth, because in both truths, arising from self and other is prevented. (Three, further revealing the path of refutation: (1, because arising cannot be established from each, nor can it be established from both, because arising cannot be established from each of self and other. For example, one sesame seed can produce oil, and many can also produce it, but each grain of sand has no ability, so many also have no ability. Four, refuting the naturalists and refuting the view that consciousness is transformed by birth. First, the truth
