To say that what is impossible to exist is the ultimate truth. If your view is true in that way, then the teacher, the Bhagavan, would become a self-contradictory and unparalleled speaker. The reason is that the pervasion (12b) is established. If you admit it, then it is unreasonable for you to claim to have obtained the most excellent nectar from the lineage of the Shakya king. Because you have admitted that Shakyamuni is not a fearless teacher Buddha, but a self-contradictory speaker. If you think there is no pervasion, then it is proven that there is. Because obtaining the supreme nectar established by the Shakya lineage is not necessarily the supreme nectar that has been established. Because it is the Dharma obtained by following the words of a teacher who speaks of self-contradictions and other errors, and practicing it. It is like the supreme object given by Ishvara. Therefore, for what purpose is it to hold onto the son's lineage in this? Alas! Although it is said that emptiness is endowed with all supreme aspects, there is hardly any actual transformation beyond mere words. If the unconditioned and the permanent have characteristics, then dwell in a mansion made of rabbit horns, adorned with celestial lotuses and jewels. If the ultimate is beyond dependent origination, then the proposition made by the Buddhas and their heirs to prove all phenomena as emptiness by the sign of dependent origination will not be established. Moreover, since the nature of dependent origination has the meaning of arising in dependence, if the ultimate is unconditioned and permanent, then it must also be established as permanent and unconditioned in relation to the conditioned and impermanent. Therefore, the ultimate truth not being dependent origination also refutes one's own assertion with one's own words. Furthermore, your ultimate truth, which is permanent and unconditioned, should not be cognized by both perception and inference (13a). Even if there is a valid inference that cognizes the general characteristic of the permanent and unconditioned, such permanence and so on are not the ultimate truth. If one cognizes that the particular characteristic of the permanent and unconditioned exists, then it will become a false consciousness. Because you have said that the unconditioned and permanent of the ultimate truth are established by their own characteristics. If one cognizes with direct perception, then one must cognize through the means of completely determining the object to be measured. However, the nature of the permanent and unconditioned

Because it cannot be measured by direct perception, it will also not be realized by direct perception, just as space is not an object of direct perception. Therefore, such a ultimate truth that you desire, for any who desire liberation, it must be said that it cannot be realized. Then, you will also become like that, because you also say that ultimate truth transcends the realm of the mind. This is not the same, because I believe that before the ultimate truth becomes an object to be realized, it can be realized by the realization itself. For example, when things do not become the object of valid cognition (pramana) of direct perception and inference, it is considered that the reality of space has been understood. Your view does not allow this, and you believe that ultimate truth transcends the mind of conventional truth, and when the mind of ultimate truth does not transcend, it is also considered to be the object of measurement of each self-aware wisdom. In this way, when the object and the subject, the measured and the measurer become one, then are these two in agreement or disagreement? If they agree, they will lose the nature of being unconditioned; if they do not agree, how can it recognize it (ultimate truth)? When examining in this way, if it is said that ultimate truth is not an object that can withstand examination, then, ultimate truth is also like illusion, as has been explained in the 《Mother Sutra》 and so on, how can it become a dharma that cannot withstand examination? Because the teacher, the Sugata, has said that ultimate truth is emptiness. Ultimate truth has been established as an object that can withstand examination, if it cannot be established as an object that can withstand examination, then ultimate truth cannot be established as emptiness either. Therefore, that statement of yours, when unable to withstand the force of valid reasoning, loses the courage to answer, and I say that I know nothing about this matter, it is nothing more than sophistry that is extended by meaning. The second view is also unreasonable, because "Yogis are also harmed by the higher and higher ones due to the difference in wisdom," because the reasoning of Madhyamaka can hinder all the extremes of elaboration such as the establishment of true and false of the Mind-Only school. In the internal analysis of the Mind-Only school, if one argues for the meaning of Madhyamaka with great effort, then, what could be more unreasonable than saying that the Madhyamaka person who does so is? For example, a Mind-Only person, after completely refuting the differences in external objects admitted by the Sutra school, again
