At that time, it is because it contradicts the nature of the seed. If the Vaisheshika school thinks that just because the qualities of the shape of the sprout are different, it will not abandon the fact that the substance is one, so it is not pervasive. If you say so, the substance other than the shape of the sprout is not reasonable, because it is not reasonable to hold its substance without holding the quality shape, etc. Third, if your seed and sprout are not other, then, like the seed, is the so-called sprout also ungraspable? Or, are they one, and like the sprout, is it also graspable? Therefore, this is not admitted. If your seed wants to produce a sprout (128b), in this case, if it is not other, then, in the state of the sprout, like the seed, is the nature of the so-called sprout also ungraspable? Or, are the seed and sprout one, and like the graspable sprout, is the nature of the seed also graspable? Because on one thing, the two aspects of graspable and ungraspable are contradictory. Those who do not want this fault do not admit that the seed and sprout are one. Then, if there is that fault in saying that cause and effect are not other, why doesn't the Madhyamaka school have that fault? It will not, because the Madhyamaka school does not admit that cause and effect are one and other. Because if you analyze the basis of difference, cause and effect, you cannot find it, so it is not suitable for other and non-other aspects. Therefore, in conventional truth, when preventing cause and effect, etc., from being other, it is only to eliminate the wrong conceptions of those who think it is other, and in reality, it is not preventing other, nor is it establishing non-other. Similarly, applying all the classifications of negation and affirmation, this is the common rule of the Prasangika and Svatantrika Madhyamikas. However, some Tibetans say that when both Prasangika and Svatantrika prevent one thing, it is necessary to determine that the establishment is different. Some people also say that in the ultimate truth, the Svatantrika Madhyamikas have neither negation nor affirmation, and in the relative truth, although there is no affirmation to be established in the ultimate truth, there is only the negation of what is to be negated in the ultimate truth, and if not, then emptiness is not non-negation, it is not the truth of the ultimate truth, and if it is knowable, then it will become non-existent, therefore, speaking in detail (129a), those people have abandoned the good traditions of Prasangika and Svatantrika from afar.

This is done because, no matter which of the two truths all the treatises of the Prasangika and Svatantrika schools start from, this does not happen. If this were to happen, then this view would be widely seen as refuting the view of the Madhyamaka school. In particular, if refutation exists in the ultimate truth, then in the ultimate truth, is it truly existent or falsely existent? If the latter, then it contradicts existence in the ultimate truth. If the former, then the Madhyamaka school has dharmas that can be analyzed, because this kind of refutation is truly existent in the ultimate truth. (2. Refuting self-origination in conventional truth. (1) Because even when the cause is destroyed, its result is seen, the world does not accept that these are one. Therefore, those who wish to seek the suchness of liberation, refuting the self-origination of the Samkhya school, even in the presence of worldly people who do not accept it, self-origination is unreasonable, because the world does not accept that cause and effect are one, because even when the cause is destroyed, its result is seen. Otherwise, just like the cause, the result should also not be seen, because they are one. Third, therefore, the imputation that things arise from themselves is not reasonable, whether in suchness or in the world. The Samkhya school believes that all things arise from themselves, this imputation is unreasonable, whether from the perspective of the suchness of ultimate truth or the conventional truth of the world, because the reason has already been stated above as contradicting reason. Here, the great teacher Lekdenjed believes that in order to refute the four extremes of origination, it is necessary to make a distinction in the ultimate truth. Some followers say that when arising in conventional truth, it is necessary to accept origination from others, which is unreasonable. Because making a distinction in the ultimate truth contradicts the tenets of the Madhyamaka school, the Samkhya school, the worldly (129b) school, and the Svatantrika school's own system, so it is unreasonable. This situation has already been explained in detail in the previous explanation of the clear words, so it has been well established. In conventional truth, if it originates from others, that is also unreasonable. If it is reasonable, then all things will be cut off from the lineage, etc., because they are harmed by the reasoning of Nagarjuna and his son. Second, if it is believed that it originates from itself, then the object to be produced and the producer, as well as the action and
