Moreover, it is also asserted that the wisdom of individual self-awareness, which has not gone beyond the scope of the minds of ordinary people, is also the object of measurement. If this is the case, if the object and the subject, the measurement and the measurer, have become like this, then are the two in contact or not in contact? If they are in contact, then the characteristic of being uncompounded will be lost. If they are not in contact, then how can it make it know it? (13b) When examining it in this way, if it is said that the ultimate truth is not an object that can be examined, then the ultimate truth is also explained as being like an illusion in the 'Perfection of Wisdom Mother Sutra' and so on, so how can it become a dharma that cannot be examined? Because the teacher, the Sugata, said that the ultimate truth is emptiness. The ultimate truth is established as an object that can be examined, but if it is not established as an object that can be examined, then the ultimate emptiness will also not be established. Therefore, that which you say, when you cannot bear reasonable arguments, you lose the courage to answer, so I do not know anything about this matter. This is just a deceptive word that is concealed by meaning. The second view is also unreasonable, because it says in the sutra: Yogis are also harmed by the differences in intelligence, by the higher and higher realms. Therefore, the reasoning of the Madhyamaka can establish the truth and falsehood of the Mind-Only school, and after having completely blocked all the extremes of elaboration such as the establishment of reality in conventional truth, if one then makes great efforts to establish an extreme view within the Mind-Only school as the meaning of the Madhyamaka, then what could be more unreasonable than saying that the Madhyamaka school is established in this way? For example, if a Mind-Only person, after completely blocking all the differences of external objects that the Sautrantika school accepts, then makes great efforts to establish a form of external object that is not consciousness in the tenets of the Mind-Only school, then what could be more amazing than the Mind-Only school established in this way? Therefore, your distinctions between the Mind-Only and Madhyamaka schools are like this, focusing your intelligence on the depths, which is just a hypocritical word that is not in accordance with your true intentions, and has not become a sacred task. (14a) In particular, you say that the intermediate state of the two distinctions, that is, the difference between the truth and falsehood of the Mind-Only school, is the distinction between the Mind-Only and Madhyamaka schools, which is not in accordance with the tenets of Buddhism. Destroying the teachings of the Buddha is not a pure act. You have not said anything about recognizing the differences between the views of the Mind-Only and Madhyamaka schools.

Because many factors that are not differentiators of the two are seen as differentiators. So, what is the real differentiator? The Mind-Only school believes that mind, consciousness, awareness, intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom are synonymous terms that are truly established in the ultimate truth and possess the nature of the perfectly established knowable. If the nature of the perfectly established knowable is established in this way, it will fall into the extremes of permanence and annihilation. Therefore, those who transcend the extremes of permanence and annihilation and claim that their doctrine is superior to that are the Madhyamikas. The philosophical tenets based on the belief that mind is truly established in the ultimate truth have two forms: with and without aspects. The first believes that since there is no duality of grasper and grasped in relation to external objects, all phenomena dependent on them are accepted as Mind-Only, but in relation to inner consciousness, the grasper and grasped of the aspect of meaning are accepted as different entities. The second believes that if the grasper and grasped dependent on inner consciousness are accepted as different entities, the selflessness of phenomena will not arise. Therefore, these aspects are said to be as false as hair-nets, and only the non-dual wisdom or consciousness is said to be truly established. The first has three schools: the half-egg school, the equal number of grasper and grasped school, and the diverse non-dual school. The second (14b) believes that although wisdom is not tainted by the aspects of grasper and grasped, for such omniscient wisdom, depending on whether the object appears or not, there are two types: tainted false aspect and untainted false aspect. Merely saying that mind, awareness, consciousness, intelligence, etc., are synonymous terms, and that no phenomena are truly established, and merely saying that there is no appearance in the mind, how can this be a valid way to establish the Madhyamika view? If all phenomena are free from elaborations such as truth and are not established as Madhyamika, then merely saying that aspect will not establish it. If it is not said that all phenomena are not established in that way, then merely saying that aspect will not establish one as a Madhyamika. If it is not established, then the difference between Mind-Only and Madhyamika would be like distinguishing between Mind-Only and Madhyamika based on whether the meaning of a vase is truly established or not on a pure ground. Because your answer of "the sign is not established" applies here as well. Therefore, claiming that false aspect is Madhyamika is self-contradictory and uproots one's own clinging.
