Because it cannot be established that way. For example, it is reasonable to establish dependent arising on emptiness, and no one who asserts substantiality can destroy it with harm. Just as the wisdom of non-duality is not truly established. The way of that should be described: The non-appearing consciousness is the subject. You will not have the characteristic of knowing, because you do not have an object to be known. In the Ornament of the Middle Way, it says: "Thus, for whatever there is no appearance, for that, that knowledge does not exist. Like non-pleasure without pleasure, and white things without white." Also, in the Commentary on Mind, it says: "If the knower knows the knowable, without the knowable, there is no knower." Also, "Appearance is false, and so is itself. If there is no grasping, there is no grasper." This contradicts the above statement. For the consciousness of two emptinesses, like a crystal ball, there is no object of focus. In the Ornament, it says: "By that which has no appearance, that knowledge will also not exist. Like a pure crystal ball, knowledge has no sensation." Because it says so. Such experience is truly established, because if it were not, there would be no basis for the arising of samsara and nirvana. If it is thought that way, then if it arises from that, do this false appearance of grasper and grasped and ultimate truth, both have a self-one relationship and an arising relationship to it, or not? If not, then it will become that it can arise even from a rabbit's horn. If it exists, then the ultimate truth will also become false like the dharma of grasper and grasped, because it and it are of the same nature, or the fruit follows the cause. Therefore, the teacher Hero said: "Some, with the power of wisdom, although they completely know that the grasped is emptiness, they see the grasper as substantially established." This is asserting that appearance is true. Also, "Some think that all dharmas are the nature of self-awareness, devoid of various imputations, like the experience of a dream, the wisdom of non-duality is established." Also, "The nature of mind is non-appearing, like space, they think it is truly established." This is asserting that appearance is false. Since both of these are not Madhyamaka, therefore they do not see Suchness, it is according to the order: Completely liberated from all others, the ultimate Manjushri is not manifest. Also, "The appearance-consciousness transcends the nature of dharma, the dharmadhatu Manjushri is not seen." Because it says so, because there is no grasping of the difference in meaning between grasper and grasped, therefore entering into the meaning of appearance-consciousness or awareness, merely knowing that is

To name it as wisdom and to presume that it is truly established, this indicates that one has not realized Mañjuśrī, that is, the meaning of reality. If you name that knowledge as consciousness (རྣམ་ཤེས,vijñāna, vijnana, consciousness) (17a) and presume that it exists, then "Consciousness is truly existent." This is a treatise of the Yogācāra school. But it will not appear as "Wisdom is ultimately existent." This is a treatise of the Yogācāra school. Therefore, to say that non-dual wisdom is truly established is established in the Prāsaṅgika school, and this meaningless statement has been thoroughly refuted. For such knowledge, whether it is called by the false name of consciousness, or by the names of wisdom, dharmadhātu, tathatā, signlessness, or emptiness, to view it as truly established is only the view of the Cittamatra school, not the Madhyamaka school. Because the Cittamatra school says that mind itself is ultimately existent, is pariniṣpanna, so there is a great difference. Moreover, the first distinction between Madhyamaka and Cittamātra is only said because the distinction method is very scarce. In addition, all those who speak of scriptures in this world think that the Cittamatra school thinks that non-dual wisdom is truly established, so they have not understood the Madhyamaka school, which is completely endowed with the body of Madhyamaka that is free from all extremes. It is as famous as the wind. Your Cittamatra school does not admit that non-dual wisdom is truly established, saying this is because your own commitment is wrong, which leads to having to admit many incidental errors. Isn't it shameless to maintain a lie with a lie? Therefore, in some treatises of the Cittamatra school, there is non-dual knowledge, some have non-dual wisdom, some have only non-dual knowledge, and some have non-dual intellect and awareness, etc., there are endless sayings. So, what is the key to this occurrence? The word "ཛྙཱ་(jñā, jnana, knowing)" (17b) only refers to knowing or understanding. And the appearance of "སཾ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ (saṃjñāna, samjnana, correct knowing)" and "བི་ཛྙཱ་ན་ (vijñāna, vijnana, complete knowing)" refers to truly knowing, completely knowing, thoroughly knowing, separately knowing, and wisdom, etc., except for matching according to the specific situation, the mind or knowledge that the Cittamatra school considers must use the definite word "consciousness," and the mind or knowledge that the Madhyamaka school considers must use the word "wisdom," there is no such regulation in scriptures and grammar, etc. Therefore, consciousness also
