Therefore, due to the influence of worldly conceptualizations with strong attachment, thinking that even in the conventional, it is established by conventional valid cognition, and that temporary establishment is meaningful, they are called logicians. Therefore, when consequentialist teachers rely on the conventional truth to engage in acceptance and rejection for the sake of liberation, they do not accept or reject objects that are established by reason in conventional phenomena. Instead, they abandon the aspects of complete affliction that are merely famous to all beings and accept the aspects of complete purification. This is establishing agreement without considering the nature of the conventional and without examination. Because the acceptance and rejection for the sake of liberation are established by valid cognition in both truths of one's own system, relying on that to engage in acceptance and rejection is something one would not even dream of. Even though they do not accept the establishment of terminology themselves, they establish it in accordance with the fame of others. This is not only the case with this teacher, but also with the glorious Dharmakirti, who establishes some such terminological establishments for the sake of others. As it is said: Although the wise have no distinctions, Yet due to inverted views, The grasped, the grasper, and the experienced, Arise with distinct characteristics. And: Although the grasped and the grasper are not, They abide as measurable and measuring fruits, Appearing as they should. Thus, although not self-accepted, it is spoken in accordance with others. And: Sound and meaning, this and that by nature, Although not existent, it is said thus, As it is accepted, it is proclaimed, In reality, this is definitely not. The establishment of dharma and the possessor of dharma, Different, the same, or how? Without considering that true meaning, But relying on what the world calls, Thus, only following that, Establishing the establisher and the established, For the sake of entering the sacred meaning, The wise have done this. Thus, sound and meaning, although not truly self-characterized, are imputed to that and shown as knowable to others. So, if your refutation and establishment of the basis for seeking Suchness are all spoken as the fame of others that is in accordance with the world, then the worldly materialists and the cowherds cannot, for the time being, become vessels for teaching the true meaning of Madhyamaka.

Since those who have not tasted the nectar of that itself do not have the other fame of its affirmation and negation. When those enter into that itself, it is said that foolish worldly people affirm and negate based on the term of fame, which is a complete word. Here, a worldly person is not necessarily taken to be like a barbarian who does not wear clothes and is born in a place of idleness. Rather, due to the power of the two obscurations, they conceive the mundane world as the duality of grasper and grasped, and all those who appear in it rely on that way to speak, think, and express themselves, all of whom are taken as worldly people. Therefore, in the realm of the mundane world, both the world itself and the treatises, all terms that were previously known and may be known are referred to as the terms of the mundane world (90a). As the royal son Shantideva said, "In that, two worlds are seen, yogis and ordinary people. Among them, the ordinary world is harmed by the yogic world, and yogis are also harmed by the higher and higher ones due to the difference in intelligence." Therefore, when the state of complete Buddhahood is attained, although the mundane connection of form and wisdom arises for the benefit of other beings to be tamed, due to the power of previous accumulations and aspirations, all the elaborations and fixations of the entire mundane world will be completely pacified in the Buddha's own view. This is the great life force of the excellent explanations of the Prasangikas. Furthermore, in the writings of the great teacher Peacock, it says, " कुछ लोग प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण के बल पर दोनो पक्षों के निषेध और स्थापना को निश्चित मानते हैं। (Tibetan: ཁ་ཅིག་དངོས་སྟོབས་ཞུགས་པའི་ཚད་མ་ཡིས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: केचित् प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण के बल पर, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: kecit pratyakṣa pramāṇa ke bala para, Chinese literal meaning: Some people consider the negation and establishment of both sides to be certain by the power of direct evidence.)" (Tibetan: ཡུལ་དངོས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་ཞུགས་པ་ཡི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: विषय प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण के बल पर प्रवृत्त होने से, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: viṣaya pratyakṣa pramāṇa ke bala para pravṛtta hone se, Chinese literal meaning: Because the object acts by the power of direct evidence.), प्रमाण से वह उसी को जानता है। (Tibetan: ཚད་མས་དེ་ཉིད་རྟོགས་སོ་ཞེས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रमाण से वह उसी को जानता है, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: pramāṇa se vah usī ko jānatā, Chinese literal meaning: Through evidence, he knows that.)" The followers of Dharmakirti, the logicians, say this. Considering these, some later scholars say that the Svatantrika Madhyamikas also accepted that things like valid cognition, which are accepted by the Sutra and Mind-Only schools, are established as ultimately true by their own nature, and debated. It is wrong to interpret this as the view of earlier scholars. The Sutra and Mind-Only schools commonly understand that all phenomena that are not mistaken are established by their own characteristics as ultimately true by the nature of Mind-Only. The Svatantrikas
