That emptiness becomes the nature of form. Because of that wish. If you also think so, then from now on we will not say anything to you about this. Furthermore, other than the existence of things like form, it is impossible for things that are the object of refutation of signs to exist, so if you think that the emptiness of emptiness exists on top of things like form, then that kind of emptiness, which is non-existent, will either become the same as the nature and self of things, or things like form that exist will also become non-existent like that, and their respective natures will become the emptiness of emptiness, which you do not want. Just as offering sacrifices does not succeed on something that has not died when the deity has died, how can the dharma itself become emptiness by being empty of other dharmas other than itself? If it becomes like that, the teacher only needs to explain other-emptiness other than the twenty emptinesses, and there is no need to explain self-emptiness, because other-emptiness has the meaning of self-emptiness. So, do you yourself think that there is emptiness of form etc. in form etc.? If the Madhyamikas do not investigate (338a), If we talk with those who do not like to speak in accordance with dependent origination, then in order to dispel fear, they will say anything, whether it exists or not, because of need. If we talk with those who like to speak in accordance with dependent origination, then we will say that both existence and non-existence are free from elaboration. If the Madhyamikas investigate, then because nothing can be established, they do not think or say anything, just as when a mirage appears as water, it is impossible to say whether that emptiness exists on the water or not, and no name that corresponds to the meaning can be said, in terms of water and the emptiness of emptiness by water. Also, if the emptiness that has become non-existent exists on other things like form, is it contradictory or related? If it is contradictory, then existence cannot be established. If it is related, then it must exist in either oneness or dependence, but for non-existent things, neither oneness nor dependence is possible. Also, things like form are the support, and the non-existent emptiness that you think of is the supported? If so, then the sky and the son of a barren woman etc. will also become dependent on form, and in that case, form etc. will become the support of the vase.

In terms of view, one should also regard past and future ears of grain and flowers in the sky as arising dependently. Furthermore, according to your view, the Mind-Only school believes that establishing emptiness on the other-powered, which is other than the other-powered object of dependence, will not be mistaken, because the (338b) five aggregates created by the other-powered of causes and conditions are not empty in themselves, but apart from that, on the five aggregates refuted by reason, the meaning of emptiness is determined to be supreme by the emptiness of emptiness. Although you Mind-Only people greatly ridicule the way of emptiness, the emptiness of your own system is established as it is established, so do as much ridicule to yourself as you do to others. Therefore, it is not desired that the nature of conventional objects such as vases and persons such as Deva-given is empty, but rather the emptiness of emptiness is created anew by one's own conceptualization with a dharma different from this, so that the emptiness of vases and Deva-given etc. is different in terms of the object of focus. Some people also think that conventional vases etc. and Deva-given etc. do not exist at all, but apart from this, the ultimate truth is always established, and the conventional and ultimate are the same in essence but different in aspect, so the two truths exist separately in the realm of the two wisdoms of the Buddha, and in the path of learning, the objects of nominal validity and rational validity also exist separately. Those who say these things, all their views, meditations, and practices cannot serve as the basis for the path of liberation and the antidote to obscurations, because by viewing and meditating on things that are not related to any subject, such as the nature of reality, non-existence, non-affirming negation, or permanent reality, it is not possible to abandon the two obscurations of clinging to reality in the subject of convention, because in the minds of abandonment and realization of nominal terms, the object must be the same and the aspects must be contradictory, if the self-nature of each conventional object is not empty, but (339n) the emptiness of emptiness refuted by reason, which is different from this, is held to be the ultimate truth, and the ultimate Tathāgatagarbha, which is different from the aggregates etc., is regarded as permanent and unconditioned, or the aggregates etc. do not exist at all, or the afflictions and conceptualizations of clinging to reality on the aggregates etc. established by nominal validity are not the same object, because they are focused on the two truths respectively, and the aspects are not contradictory, because the two
