Saying that everything is equal does not mean that all phenomena of self-emptiness and other-emptiness are equal. Rather, it means that the characteristics and nature of phenomena that exist in each of the two truths are said to be equal. Ultimate truth is permanent, thus eliminating the extreme of nihilism; conventional truth is impermanent, thus eliminating the extreme of eternalism. This way of abandoning permanence and nihilism is like the view of the Madhyamaka of Tsongkhapa, which is like an eagle cutting through the sky and looking down. Others' examination is like the dance of a butterfly. That system not only contradicts the scriptures of the Tathagata and the logic of the four schools of tenets, but also contradicts all of its own establishments. The existence of nature without characteristics is not reasonable even according to the Madhyamikas, because both characteristics and nature are free from elaborations such as existence and non-existence. It is also not reasonable according to the Realists, because both exist. It is also not reasonable according to your own system, because the characteristics, nature, samsara, nirvana, merits, faults, etc. of ultimate truth all exist, while all of those of conventional truth do not exist. It is evident that you have not understood the meaning of emptiness as the analysis of aggregates, which is like a water tree without essence. If you say that this scripture prevents the establishment of phenomena such as aggregates as empty by reasoning, then all the reasoning that establishes emptiness in the immeasurable tantric texts such as the three sections of the Heart Sutra commentary will become meaningless. Or, if you say that the sutras and the Bodhicitta commentary, that is, all the tantric texts, prevent all the wisdom arising from hearing and thinking about the meaning of emptiness, then do you want to say that? In the Vajrayana, such a thought is not held, because on top of the common knowledge known as the Paramita Vehicle, it is still necessary to use the wisdom of hearing and thinking to establish that all elaborations such as self-truth are empty in the immeasurable phenomena known as the uncommon knowledge of the Vajrayana, and to accomplish the body and wisdom of the great secret. What this scripture prevents is the common emptiness to be established. Although there is no difference in depth between the Sutra and Tantra, the emptiness examined by the wisdom of hearing and thinking in either Sutra or Tantra is only presuming to measure the general characteristics of emptiness.
