Because it must be considered that it is not the actual wisdom of knowing. The fifth is: After knowing the remaining refutations mentioned above, give here for the sake of answering aspects such as encounters. How can there be no debater who exhausts refutations? As previously stated, the remaining aspects should be understood by this very aspect. Therefore, for those who believe that things are established by their own nature, the dependent arising that shows the selflessness of phenomena is established, and the dependence on which the selflessness of persons is shown is established, and the birth of the four extremes is prevented, and the examination by the seven modes, etc., after knowing the remaining refutations mentioned above, that is, after remembering, do causes and effects meet and produce? Or do they produce without meeting? For the sake of answering aspects such as these, refutations are issued, etc., and they are not born on the four extremes, and they cannot be found by the seven reasons, so although refutations are not issued after examining whether they meet or do not meet, they are used to dispel others' wrong conceptions without examination. (317a) Refutations are also issued here, and the refutations should also be stated separately. If the four extremes, the seven modes, and meeting or not meeting, etc., are examined, then birth, finding, and refuting will not be established, but in the terminology of not examining, birth, finding, and refuting are not contradictory. How can there be no debater who exhausts refutations? That is, it only prevents others' conceptions from not being based on meaning, and it does not establish one's own side and eliminate the other side, because the object to be eliminated is not perceived at all. The definition of things made by the heretical Foot-Eyed School is pervasive, and it becomes a correct definition, so for this, anyone can establish it even if they do not establish their own side, and the one who has made it pervasive, the one who has not made it pervasive, the other side must be prevented, that is, the one who has been eliminated does not depend on others, so after acknowledging the thing of substance, it is unreasonable to debate exhaustively with refutations. If so, then the preventing side that prevents the other side is also not present in one's own system, and if one says so, it becomes existent by meaning. We Madhyamikas are also not debating exhaustively with refutations of the other side, because we have not established our own side even though there is a reason to establish it, and we have not refuted the other side's phenomena even though there are phenomena to be refuted. Such as that, such as saying, etc., previously
