Because there is no reason to have boundaries, etc. The fourteen unrecorded views that the Buddhist schools expound are: four such as the world has or does not have boundaries, four such as the world is permanent or impermanent, four such as the Tathagata exists or does not exist after death (p. 287), and two that depend on whether the body and life are the same or different. These fourteen are not recorded by the Blessed One because they cannot be definitively stated. If the sound of the world or self is placed on the aggregates, and these are "I" and "sentient beings" and "world," then the arising and ceasing of the aggregates themselves will also become a declaration that the world is impermanent, and after nirvana, the continuity of the aggregates will be cut off, and it will also become a declaration that the world has boundaries, and it is reasonable to declare that the Tathagata will not appear after death, but it is not so, because you think that the world has boundaries, etc., do not exist, so it is not appropriate to say that the aggregates and the mind are the self. Third, for seeing no-self, the aggregates will become invisible, and even if you see no-self, you will not be able to abandon afflictions. The first is divided into two types: the main text and the refutation of disputes. The first is: When your yoga sees no-self, then all things will inevitably become non-existent. According to your view, when a yogi sees the truth, when he sees that all dharmas are no-self, that is, when he sees the aspect of no-self in the truth of suffering, then all things such as form will inevitably become non-existent, that is, cut off, because he also realizes that the five aggregates are self and no-self. The second is: If you abandon the permanent self, then because of that, your mind or aggregates will not become me. If, in order to show the relationship between karma and effect, the sound of me is only applied to the aggregates, and when no-self is seen, it is only applied to the inner agent person posited by others. When no-self is seen (p. 287), only the five aggregates of the acting aggregate separated from the inner agent person are seen, how can form, etc., become non-existent? If my voice grasps the permanent self, and thinks that seeing no-self will abandon me, then because of that promise itself, your mind or aggregates

That is impossible. Furthermore, if the self that is seen as non-existent by the wisdom that realizes selflessness is a permanent self, then the aggregates and mind should not be considered as "self," because they are the objects of wisdom and have not been obstructed. If the aggregates are not the self when selflessness is realized, then how could the aggregates be the self when it is not realized? Secondly, your yoga, by seeing selflessness, will not realize the nature of form, etc., because it engages with form as its object, and therefore attachment, etc., will arise, because its own nature is not realized. The yogi of your system, by seeing selflessness, will not realize the nature of form, etc., the aggregates, because he realizes the selflessness that is different from the aggregates. The yogi will also generate afflictions such as desire, because he has not realized the selflessness of the individual, the own nature of the aggregates. Attachment, etc., and the view of self, etc., arise by engaging with form, etc., as their objects. For example, although there are cuckoos and honey in a jujube, one will not know the sweetness because of that, but if the cuckoo tastes the honey, it will know the sweetness, and it will not stop craving it. Similarly, merely seeing the imputed selflessness will not realize selflessness, but one will perversely view the aggregates, etc., as "self," and one will not stop craving, etc. The second part includes: stating the former's view and refuting those views (288a), in two parts. The first part is: Because the Teacher said that the aggregates are "self," if we think that the aggregates are "self," we rely on the words of the scriptures, and therefore we are not harmed by the measure of conceptual thought, because the Teacher said that whatever bhikshus or brahmins truly follow by thinking "I am I," they only truly follow these five aggregates of grasping, so the aggregates are "self." The second part includes: the intention of the scriptures is not that the aggregates are "self," even if the aggregates are "self," the collection is not "self," and the grasper should not be the grasped, in three aspects. The first part includes: the doctrine and the explanation, in two parts. The first part is: That is to prevent the self other than the aggregates, because other sutras say that form is not "self," etc. This sutra does not show that the aggregates are "self," but shows that it is different from the aggregates.
