If someone thinks that since one clings to this, it is unreasonable that the scriptures do not speak of the reasoning that prevents the self of its object, but only speak of the reasoning that prevents the self of the imputed. It is not so. Because, the self of the co-emergent object, and the person and sentient beings, etc., are not to be rejected when accepting conventional terms without examination (274b), and they cannot be rejected, and there is no need to reject them, so they are not rejected. But when examining and preventing, it does not go beyond the three ways of reasoning, so the reasoning of preventing the three selves of the imputed is also the reasoning of preventing the co-emergent self. Because it prevents all the objects of the twenty peaks of the mountain of destructive views. Therefore, the scriptures do not fail to prevent the co-emergent self. The self of phenomena: clinging to the nature of all phenomena from form to omniscience is mostly just a conventional false statement. In particular, most of the things that are clung to, which are known or can be known in the world, are only spoken as terms in the Buddha's teachings for the sake of taming those who are to be tamed, and are also just conventional false statements. Those that are not known in the world and not spoken by the Tathagata, which are established by the discriminations of the inner and outer heretics, such as the six and nine meanings of knowable words and the twenty-four natures, etc., and the indivisible atoms, the meaning of the hidden metaphor of the external object, the other-dependent truth of non-duality, the alaya consciousness, the uncompounded permanence of the Buddha-womb adorned with marks and examples, the established self of conventional validity, and the truth of the unreal ultimate truth established as truth there, etc., do not even exist in conventional terms. If someone asks: Then, aren't the alaya consciousness, etc., spoken by the Buddha? If the teacher speaks without examining in this way, then there are two kinds of weighing and deciding in conventional terms, but such a statement, even in conventional terms (275n), is a statement of weighing meaning and provisional meaning, so the self-sect thinks that the teacher speaks in conventional terms, so he said so. But such a statement is not definitive in conventional terms, and everything that the teacher speaks after examining is definitive in both truths, and is not of weighing meaning. In short, the nature of all phenomena from form to omniscience, and especially all imputations, are naturally empty in both truths.
