It is produced, because when a pot arises from lumps of clay, mud, wheels, ropes, water, and potters, etc., the clay and the pot are not other; the potter and the wheel, etc., are other than the pot. Similarly, internal things also arise from both self and other, because things exist in the nine meanings of words such as life and non-life. Maitreya, in other lives, exists only as the nature of life, therefore he takes this birth; life has feet, therefore by walking itself, it is desired to walk in other gods, etc.; Maitreya also arises from parents and Dharma and non-Dharma and defilements, etc. Therefore, when self-origination and other-origination are prevented, it does not harm us, because we have not promised that it arises from self and other separately. The arising from both self and other is also not the nature of reason, because the faults that have been said to both sides will fall on the head, because if it arises from that, there is no merit at all. And so on. Relying on others (252b), if another arises, then thick darkness will also arise from the flame. And so on, the fault has been said. The second is, this is neither worldly nor admitted in reality. Arising from both is not considered to arise from worldly convention, nor from reality, because in both truths, arising from self and other is prevented. (Third, another way of refutation is also shown: (1 Because arising cannot be established from each alone. Arising from both does not exist, because arising cannot be established from each of self and other. For example, one sesame seed can produce oil, and many can also produce it; one grain of sand has no power, so many also have no power. Fourth, refuting the essentialists and refuting the mind arising from the elements are two. First, refute in both truths. Refute both with the reason of the unobservable. The first is, if you think that it arises only from no cause, then at that time everything will always arise from everything.

Fields. To produce fruits, the seeds of this world, etc., will not change even if collected through hundreds of thousands of efforts. The Samkhyas say: If things arise from causes, then from self or other, or from both? Even if admitting that there is a fault in saying that it arises from both, there is no fault for us, because we do not admit that things arise from causes. External and internal things arise from nature. For example, the roughness and softness of the water and petals of a lotus, although there is no agent of a certain cause, they arise there. The same is true for peacocks and sapphires, etc., although no one grasps them to arrange colors and shapes, etc., they arise from nature. If all external and internal things are born only from no cause, then all fruits (252b) will always arise from all causes and non-causes. Just as the Panasa tree arises from trees that are not the cause of fruits, mangoes, etc., will also arise from trees that are not the cause, because they are similar to non-causes. Similarly, the ripening of mangoes, etc., which depends on the difference of time, will also always exist, because they do not depend on time. Similarly, just as the peacock is not the cause of peacock feathers, crows will also have peacock feathers. Therefore, if all beings arise in all times and places, that is also non-existent. If clinging to existence, it is not only contrary to reason, but also contrary to what is seen. If born without cause, then the people of this world, in order to produce fruits such as grains and cotton, will not collect and strive through hundreds of thousands of efforts. Secondly, if beings are empty of causes, then like the fragrance of the उत्पལ་(藏文,梵文天城体:उत्पल,梵文罗马拟音:utpala,汉语字面意思:blue lotus)of the sky, since it cannot be grasped, the holding of the extremely bright world is also for this reason. Please understand according to your own understanding that the world arises from causes. Furthermore, the world is a dharma, just like the fragrance of the उत्पལ་(藏文,梵文天城体:उत्पल,梵文罗马拟音:utpala,汉语字面意思:blue lotus)of the sky, since one's own object consciousness cannot grasp it, that is, it does not exist. If beings are empty of causes, that is, for this reason. This world
