It is the object of complete imputation. The wisdom that is utterly pure sees through the meaning of non-duality. Thus it is said. If you doubt that the Madhyamaka school says that other-power is not the object of noble wisdom, and that this contradicts it, it is not contradictory because the Madhyamaka and Mind-Only schools are determined separately. The Madhyamikas state that other-power, which is the nature of non-true and non-false, is not the object of the samadhi of the noble ones. The Mind-Only school states that other-power is only consciousness, and is the object of both samadhi and post-samadhi. Therefore, it is not contradictory to establish one's own system on one basis. Furthermore, in all the Mind-Only scriptures, other-power is said to be empty of complete imputation and is the perfect reality. If one focuses on the perfect reality aspect of other-power, it is said to be the ultimate truth. How can it not be contradictory to say that samadhi is the object of perfect reality? Because if one does not focus on the basis of difference, such as mere awareness, mere experience, and mere clarity, then the consciousness of two without difference is not reasonable. It is not reasonable to say that other-power is the cause of both complete affliction and complete purification. Fourth, if there is other-power, then the conventional truth is lost. If the two truths are lost, then liberation is not attained. There are three reasons for this. First, what does not exist cannot be a cause, and it contradicts the world. The first is: When there is not even a little other-power, what will be the cause of the conventional? If you think that it is reasonable that other-power, which has become the cause of the existence of real things, exists, then that is not reasonable. What will be the cause of conventional things will never be the cause. Because when there is no proof and there is harm, at that time, there is not even a little other-power. This is combined with the previous chapter, and the old commentary says that it is not the meaning of the root commentary and the commentary. The second is: According to others, attachment to substance destroys all the worldly conventions. The Mind-Only school says that the cause of conventional terms is other-power. If so, then it is not the cause of terms. Therefore, the Mind-Only school cannot establish the establishment of terms. Alas, alas. According to the Mind-Only school, the substance of other-power does not exist. If you are attached to it, then the cycle of existence and nirvana

If one insists on saying that the cause of all things is acting without acting, then all the established conventions of the world, such as staying and going, will be lost, because the going and staying, etc., of the established conventions arising from that other, cannot exist in the world. If one thinks, 'What does it matter if they are lost?' If one misuses the immediate praise of good and bad, it will turn into ruin, because one will not even be able to attain higher rebirth. Second: For those who have become external to the path of the master Nagarjuna, there is no method of pacification. Those relative truths themselves are deficient from the truth. By being deficient from that, liberation cannot be achieved. Therefore, for those who speak of the path of the master Nagarjuna, which establishes the two truths, as being external, arbitrarily applying conceptual thoughts for the sake of liberation, such as consciousness-only, atoms, persons, and the chief, from the Mind-Only school to the Carvakas, there is no method of pacification. If those consciousness-only, etc., are analyzed with reason, let alone the ultimate truth, even in conventional terms, those imagined other-powered and self and chief, etc., are not commonly known in the world, because they establish existence according to their own tenets, which are incompatible with the world, so they are deficient from the relative truth. Because what is said is incompatible with the views of the noble ones, it will be deficient from the ultimate truth of suchness. If one is deficient from the two truths, there will be no achievement of liberation, because in the world, if the interdependent samsara and nirvana, bondage and liberation of the two truths are not reasonable, then the samsara and nirvana, bondage and liberation, etc., of the world will be reversed. It is like the Samkhya school establishing the path of the two truths, which, because of labor, makes liberation meaningless. Third: The conventional truth becomes the means, and the ultimate truth becomes what is produced by the means. If one does not know the distinction between these two, then one has entered the wrong path due to inverted conceptual thoughts. The reason why liberation cannot be attained if one is deficient from the two truths is that the conventional truth, the dependent arising of the aggregates, elements, and sources (233a), which was taught by the fully enlightened one, is the means to realize the ultimate truth. As it says in the Samadhiraja Sutra: From the dharma without letters, who is the listener and who is the speaker? Falsely imputing to the unchanging
