In particular, the truth of ultimate truth, although it is not established as a play of truths, etc., in the two truths, if such an establishment is not made, the profound Suchness will not be understood. In short, son of lineage, if there were no ultimate, then the practice of Brahman would become meaningless, and the appearance of the Thus-gone Ones would also become meaningless. (153b) Because there is ultimate, therefore Bodhisattvas are skilled in the ultimate. Thus it is said. Such two truths are not spoken in the view of the noble ones after a basis has been established in meaning, but in order for those worldly people to realize Suchness, the Blessed One made the establishment of the two truths in accordance with the terms of truth and falsehood of the world, etc. It is not established by the Madhyamaka own system. Thus it is said. As it is said: "The world argues with me, but I do not argue with the world. Whatever the world considers to exist, I also consider to exist. Whatever the world considers not to exist, I also consider not to exist." Thus it was declared. Therefore, the profound emptiness that is non-conceptual, which has become the object of the wisdom of the noble ultimate, is devoid of both what can be analyzed and what cannot be analyzed. There, although it is devoid of expression, the profound emptiness that is conceptual, which has become the ultimate truth, is the object of the valid cognition of the worldly people, although none of them can be analyzed, the Madhyamikas, in the name of ultimate truth, express the meaning of Suchness by naming it without a name, and it is not that the ultimate truth can never be spoken in terms. How can such a profound and subtle key point be understood by the coarse wisdom of wrong speculation that arose later in this land of snow (referring to Tibet)? It is heard that even people like Chapa and Tsang Nagpa, the lions of speech in the land of snow, did not give rise to an unerring conviction on this meaning, and said such words. The Lord of Reasoning, Venerable Chapa, said: "Although the self-aspect of ultimate truth cannot be analyzed by reason, the basis of names, such as pots, etc., the real things can be analyzed. Moreover, negating its existence can be analyzed, but negating that it is not so cannot be analyzed." Thus it is said.

The teacher Tsang Nagpa said: Although the tip of an arrow cannot pierce the sky, it is not said that it can withstand the arrow's shot. Similarly, if one analyzes non-affirming negation, it will only end up being non-affirming negation itself, and will not become something that can be analyzed. If one analyzes the affirmation of the four extremes, there is nothing that can be analyzed, and when the affirmation of the four extremes disappears, it can only be called non-affirming negation. At that time, that decisive non-affirming negation cannot be analyzed by any reasoning as an independent entity of negation. Therefore, even when naming the definition of ultimate truth, one cannot simply establish it as non-affirming negation, and thus ultimate truth can never be expressed. So he said. As for the view of the teacher Chapa, although he verbally says that he is a Madhyamaka who views emptiness as a sign, both the former and latter views are unreasonable. If one believes that emptiness is a non-affirming negation that can be analyzed, and that ultimate truth can never be expressed to those to be tamed, then the Madhyamaka who prevents true establishment, and the Madhyamaka who skillfully teaches Suchness, will only become Madhyamakas in name only. Here, it is said that ultimate truth is the object of the wisdom of the noble ones, and it is not contradictory that the sutras (154b) and other treatises say that ultimate truth is not the object of the mind. Because here, it is seen by wisdom in a way that nothing is seen at all, without seeing any determination. And elsewhere, it is unseen by consciousness in the way of complete elimination, in the way of the knower and the known. Here it is said: The two truths spoken by Nagarjuna Vajradhara, in the way of establishing them as made by the world, even if the wise and reputable people of India and Tibet, if the wisdom to distinguish them as they are is not clear, then can my eye of wisdom, like the light of a firefly, illuminate the mandala of the knowable? Even so, by the power of the manifestation of the holy ones, this well-spoken word like a million suns has arisen. Secondly, the distinction between false appearances and the fact that they are not harmed by worldly people. First, the distinction is made from the perspective of the subject and the object. The first is: False appearances are also considered to be of two types, clear sense faculties and sense faculties with defects. The consciousness of those with defective sense faculties is considered to be inverted relative to the consciousness of those with good sense faculties. Like that
