The momentary dependent origination pervades everything. Whichever path one is on, one remains on that path. It is impossible to remain on another path. This is the teaching of the great, supreme, and upright ones of the past. Furthermore, due to the power of anger, one will be born in the hell realms. Due to miserliness, one will be born as a hungry ghost. Due to ignorance, one will be born in the animal realms. Due to the karma of jealousy, one will be born as an Asura. Due to the power of pride, one will be born as a desire realm god. Due to strong attachment to the experience of joy and happiness, one will grasp at life in the form realm. From subtle and subtle thoughts, to grasping at not thinking anything at all, one will definitely be born in the formless realm. Thus, when the six types of beings experience happiness and suffering separately, like a thick darkness pervading everything, it pervades the entire cycle of existence. That Alaya consciousness and primordial purity, like a blind person and a person with eyes, their essence is spontaneously accomplished, manifesting as skillful means. The paths of delusion are, in order, the formless realm, the form realm, the desire realm, and those with objects of focus. All of these are the habitual tendencies of thoughts, and the grasping at the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought. From this, gross afflictions arise, manifesting as the five types of non-human assemblies, and the people of the three realms. Due to the continuous accumulation of sinful actions, the beings of the three lower realms arise. Thus, although the essence of the six types of beings is one, due to their individual radiance being the six afflictions, they manifest as six different paths of delusion. That Alaya consciousness and primordial purity, like a blind person and a person with eyes, although their essence is one, there is a difference in the aspect of reversal, which is the distinction of those with experience. If the essence of Buddhas and sentient beings is one, then sentient beings should be liberated by the power of the Buddhas.

If it is said that (Buddha) also becomes a sentient being, then how is that appropriate? If the Buddha and sentient beings are not of the same essence, then the scriptural proof that "all beings are pervaded by the Tathagatagarbha" becomes the basis. Therefore, the Buddha and sentient beings, on the outer basis or the original basis, have no difference, like the sky. The basis of delusion and the basis of liberation are as mentioned above. Therefore, the essence of the minds of beings in the three realms of samsara is the same in essence, and their respective natures have their own characteristics, and happiness and suffering appear without being able to be stopped. Moreover, all the beings in hell, even if they suffer constant torment from heat and cold, are born there, and if their bad karma is not exhausted, it is impossible to transfer suddenly. However, the realm of hell and the unbearable pain and number, etc., are all caused by sinful thoughts, as the Buddha said. The other five types of beings are also the same. Yogis who have completed the five stages of practice, in the realm of realization, the Trikaya Buddha and the beings of the three lower realms, have no acceptance or rejection, and are equal. The wisdom essence of all Buddhas and the nature of all sentient beings are like the sky and clouds. Therefore, on the other side of samsara, if there is a good thing called Buddha, then it has not gone beyond the grasper and the grasped. If not, then in the vast realm of the minds of the Buddhas of the three times, like a container filled with all essences, sentient beings in samsara are perfect like the sky, and dwell without distinction. In this way, the Buddhas completely pervade all beings with wisdom, but due to the domination of illusion and delusion, they do not recognize the truth and separate the Buddha and sentient beings. The hope of finding another Buddha better than one's own mind is in vain. For example, it is like not knowing the treasure in a poor man's house. Therefore, fortunate followers, with unwavering certainty that their own mind is the Buddha, no matter what happiness, suffering, good or bad happens, they must determine the key by understanding, experiencing and realizing that the essence of their own mind is the Buddha. Now, in this degenerate age of the five degenerations, there are those who have heard and thought but lack practice, who boast of being great practitioners, but are bound by attachments, saying that they want to protect the nature of the mind, but torment themselves with various thoughts. Some people hope that there is a mind that transcends existence and non-existence, and therefore cling to it. Some cling to gods and creators of gods, and to what is practiced and what can be practiced, and so on.
