Twelfth: Explaining the Uncommon Path of the Great Perfection of Naturalness. Root Verse: To the non-learning union, the great path of guidance, the six perfections, and all qualities, rely perfectly on the Perfection of Wisdom. That path will never become the cause of another. This means that the four paths of accumulation, application, seeing, and meditation are the paths of learning, while the path of non-learning is the union of bliss and emptiness. The great path that leads to it is the six perfections, and all its glory and qualities rely perfectly on the Perfection of Wisdom. That path will never become the cause of another. That is what it means. Root Verse: Thus, the secret of all perfect Buddhas, in emptiness, no characteristics abide, in the meaning of freedom from extremes, there is no grasping at the Middle Way, the essence is free from nature, the Great Perfection is accomplished. Thus, the secret of body, speech, and mind of all perfect Buddhas of the past and future is that no characteristics abide in emptiness, and there is no grasping at the Middle Way in understanding the meaning of freedom from extremes. The essence is free from nature, that is, beyond all aims and thoughts, and is spontaneously accomplished as the Great Perfection. When the mind's activity subsides into the expanse, and even the slightest bit of the Middle Way is not perceived, it is empty in its own nature. From the aspect of spontaneous accomplishment, the illusion of clear, unmoving, radiant wisdom is unceasing, and that is known as the Great Perfection. Root Verse: Argumentative conceptual thought increases, following after the objects of discrimination, the realm of ultimate truth is contrary to that, self-cognizance is beyond the realm of expression. That is, while not having any experience of the state of mind, some conceptual thoughts that increase arguments in words prioritize the mind of wanting one's own side to win and the other side to lose, and some consider the Buddha's words to be good, while others consider them to be bad. Although the wisdom of distorted discrimination arises after following discrimination, the realm of ultimate truth is contrary to that, and self-cognizance is beyond the realm of expression. Thus, the individual discriminating wisdom generated by the conceptual thought of discrimination

From the perspective of sects, it is about measuring the pervasiveness of dharma and entities, opposites, and following and reversing, examining concordant and discordant aspects, and understanding how conceptual scattering winds contradict the nature of quiescence through subsequent inferences, as explained in texts like the Lankavatara Sutra. Root text: The conceptualization of proponents of substantial entities and the inferior conceptualization of ordinary beings: The wisdom of the Victorious Ones, which transcends conceptual analysis, is the path of the Great Perfection, liberated from the beginning. This refers to the fact that the conceptualization of sects, which are doctrines that assert the existence of entities, measures the profound meaning with contradictory debates even though it is not established in its nature, and superimposes liberation onto the nature of original liberation. The inferior conceptualization of boundaries refers to ordinary beings, children, who are beings with minds that cling to the five aggregates. Among these, the wisdom of the Victorious Ones, which transcends conceptual analysis, is particularly superior and is praised as the path of the Great Perfection, liberated from the beginning. Root text: The object of knowledge, emptiness unbound by appearances, the essence of emptiness, whose nature is luminosity, the realm of body and wisdom abiding in awareness, inseparable like the essence of the sun. This means that what is to be known is the abiding nature of one's own mind. That which is unbound by appearances does not conceptually follow the six consciousnesses, and the clinging to the five aggregates is the very nature of emptiness, which is the actual entity. That emptiness is also the essence of luminosity, the realm of body and wisdom abiding in awareness, inseparable like the essence and rays of the sun. Thus, if one does not waver from the state of settling into the nature of reality, then various feelings, including memory and thought, will also be liberated without acceptance or rejection in the expanse of self-aware, primordially empty, and immutable space, like the appearance of rivers and waves. Root text: For what, there are three ways of measuring with the order of intelligence: The Mind Series dawns as the talent of play, the Space Series is the ornament of self-appearing arrangement, the Instruction Series is the form of empty appearance without existence. This means that for what, that is, for the Great Perfection, there are three ways of measuring with the order of intelligence, lower, middling, and supreme. The Mind Series dawns as the talent of play, because there is no other dharma separate from one's own mind, so it is to be abandoned.
