The meaning of numerous treatises starting from... Collected here with concise words. Concentrating the essence into a ball, this is unsurpassed. The six ornaments and two supreme ones who adorn Jambudvipa, And the scholars and pretenders who came to this land of snow, Although they have composed many treatises, However, the benefits and harms to the doctrine are obvious. Therefore, treat the Buddha's teachings as the Buddha himself, The excellent path of the two great chariots is the most supreme. So-called profound view and vast conduct, This itself is the essence of the two well-known treatises. Now is the time when the Buddha's teachings are approaching the western mountains, The stubborn and selfish rely on the Dharma, When it becomes apparent that it is difficult to subdue like butter dregs, Wouldn't it be better to subdue one's own mind? In general, the two aspects of Vajrayana, teaching and practice, Although they have been explained, but in today's teachings, Those who mainly focus on teaching are far from faith and compassion. Most of those who diligently practice aspire to benefit the teachings and sentient beings. However, whichever of the two, If it is not just pretense, but generates the supreme mind of benefiting, Then it will surely become the supreme holder of the teachings in the degenerate age. Therefore, exposing one's own faults is the supreme Dharma, It is important to listen a lot, and it is crucial not to be deaf. It is necessary to analyze with thought, and it is important not to increase illusions. It is necessary to meditate firmly, and it is crucial not to cling to the apprehended and the apprehender. It is precious not to let pride destroy the three things of teaching, debating, and writing. Having spoken like this to oneself and others, again, Because it is said that "a good mind is without fault," Therefore, in the ocean of the treasure of precious qualities, The water droplets of words and meanings fall on the tip of a hair like jewels, Thus, for the sake of benefiting those who are like oneself, The one who does this is at the feet of the twenty guides, The yogi who never tires of worshiping with his head, Whose name is called Kunzang Other-Benefit, Ignoring the hard work, willingly taking on heavy responsibilities, Revealing this in the form of letters, Is accomplished diligently by his faithful disciple Puṇyeratna (藏文,梵文天城体,puṇyeratna,功德宝) and, Kunzang Immortal. With this virtue, may we teachers and students, And all sentient beings connected by good and bad karma, All limitless sentient beings, At once be inseparable from the primordial protector. Opening the lock of the treasure of precious qualities, in the treatise called "Key to the Jewel of the Drop of the Ocean of Condensed Commentary," with unwavering faith and unhidden vows.

The venerable guide who cherishes the seven noble riches, such as faith, as precious treasures, named Punya Ratna Dhvaja, whose command I bind upon my head. For the sake of the Lord Dharma King, I mention his name, that until we attain enlightenment, we may never be separated from the Lord of the lineage, the 7th, the glorious Khyentse Özer or Rangjung Dorje Jigme Lingpa himself, whose immaculate teachings are the root, the "Treasury of Qualities," the "Rain of Joy," up to the ninth chapter, which explains the connection of the Sutra path, the chariot of the two truths, and the subsequent four chapters, which establish the meaning of the basis, path, and fruit of tantra in general and especially the Great Perfection, the two omniscient chariots. Fearing the sight of the two volumes of the extensive commentary, some individuals like myself avoid encountering them. To such people, I first present a few words and meanings to avoid causing aversion, and then gradually familiarize them with the extensive commentary, hoping that this will be in accordance with the proper way. However, like a lotus closed by the sun of discriminating wisdom, I do not have the ability to write a commentary on such a great text. Nevertheless, I have written this with a pure intention that rivals the light of the moon, may the accumulation of faults be empty like a drawing in the sky, and may the accumulation of virtues increase like a summer stream! Auspicious! Auspicious! Auspicious! The concise commentary that opens the lock of the "Treasury of Qualities," the "Drop of the Ocean," from which comes the tantric commentary, the "Garland of Jewels."
