Those children who have not been liberated from ignorance but pretend to be teachers, if the branches of the rituals they teach from their respective schools are deficient, then they cannot mature their students, which is indeed the case. The vase empowerment is performed according to each school's own tradition. The four branches of the fourth empowerment are: entering (the mandala) oneself, requesting permission to lead the disciple in, receiving permission, leading the disciple in slowly, and bestowing empowerment upon the one who has entered. The first branch is: giving the obstacle-destroying offering to the obstructors and separating from obstacles, bathing, adorning oneself with red clothes and ornaments, sitting at the east gate of the mandala, holding a flower, and reciting: Om Vajra Samaya Om, Vajra, Vow), and adding A, Hum, Svaha, and Ha to the beginning and end of the mantra as before. In this way, one should view oneself as inseparable from the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the deities of the innate mandala, and mix the samaya and jnana with Om Vajra Samaya Hum Om, Vajra, Vow, Hum). Stabilize it with Om Vajra Samaya Tvam Om, Vajra, Vow, Steadfast). Make it sovereign and generate joy with Om Vajra Samaya Hoh Jaḥ, Hūṃ, Baṃ, Hoḥ) One should view the mandala, which has attained the eight degrees of clarity and stability, as being non-dual with oneself. A teacher who has attained a high position can experience the dharmas of entering the samaya mandala simply by entering the inner wisdom mandala. Therefore, the meaning of entering the mandala is to make the jnanasattva and oneself inseparable. Even so, ordinary teachers, being subject to flaws and having conceptual obscurations, must enter the mandala with pure faith and devotion. Why? Because the noble father and sons believe that there are four reasons for not maturing: the vessel is not mature, the ritual is not mature, the ritual is not complete, and one is afraid of the profound. If the teacher himself has root downfalls, the disciple will not generate mantra vows. Therefore, the Heruka Assembly, the Old Secrets, the Mirror, the Gradual Illumination, and others agree that: "First the teacher should enter, in the manner of the disciple entering." Therefore, just as one bestows empowerment on the disciple, should one know that one's own awareness, the essence of the Sugata-garbha, is the lama and the assembly of mandala deities, and transform the body, which is the basis of the ripening karma and habitual tendencies, along with the suddenly arising conceptualizations, into the form of the disciple? Or, one may also believe that the lama who has obtained the cause empowerment is acting as the karma teacher, as Guru Padmasambhava said.

Then, in order to introduce the student, the master requests permission from the deity of the mandala. Vajra-wisdom is the suchness of all dharmas, first praising it, in order to bestow such accomplishment upon the student, aiming to obtain vajra-wisdom, etc., and by what truth, etc., may all see without obstruction, repeating this three times. That is the mandala of the nature of the union of method and wisdom. And its cause arises truly from the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating on the realm of dharma. The essence of suchness or the tathagatagarbha is Samantabhadra in wisdom, the basis of the mandala and the foundation of what is relied upon. From the ultimate truth, the mandala appears as an image and arrangement. To view it and its form is clarity. Such a mandala, relying on the power of profound secret mantra to eliminate sins, may all students see it without obstruction. Then, let the remaining students wash outside with action water. Wear red clothes reciting action mantras, or any other clothes will do. Cover the lower body with "Om Sarva Tathagata Anuttara Bodhi Alamkara," etc., cover the upper body with "Om Vajra Raksha Hum," and crown the topknot with "Om Vajra Ushnisha." Temporarily conceal the appearance of the mandala, and bind the face with red silk as a symbol of ignorance. Use "Om Chakshurbandhanam," etc., or "Hum" will also do. Holding the flowers of Akambira, according to the garland of flowers born from the seed syllables of the four Buddhas from west to right and the central Akshobhya, each holding a flower named after its respective arising syllable. Ask "Child, what do you like?" and answer. Then, let the doorkeeper or karma master hold the vajra, and also let the student hold it, and then lead them close to the curtain of the mandala, the way to prostrate from the four directions of the mandala is: first, full prostration; second, vajra mudra at the heart; third, palms joined at the crown of the head; fourth, lowering from the crown of the head, touching the ground with the crown of the head at the heart. At the same time, reciting "Om Sarva Buddha Puja Karmane Atmanam Nityatayamami," invoking the Buddhas of the four directions, offering the body.
