Fearless giving precedes Dharma giving, leading to Dharma giving. The root is: Dharma giving has three aspects. It is difficult to instruct others to practice according to their faith. The rituals for eliminating one's own afflictions, reading the scriptures with love and compassion. Pray for the liberation of one's own lineage in the white direction. After one's own lineage is liberated, one should mainly benefit others according to the capacity and nature of sentient beings. What is Dharma giving? Giving ink pens and scriptures is small; teaching the Dharma of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and the Great Vehicle according to one's own capacity is medium; teaching inconceivable Dharma is great. Moreover, those who practice with faith hope that others will teach the Dharma, just like a blind person leading a blind person, it is difficult to instruct them properly. Therefore, it is better to show the rituals for eliminating one's own afflictions, to teach the general and specific antidotes to the conceptual thoughts of the three poisons, and to read the scriptures of the Victorious Ones with love and compassion, without abandoning sentient beings, and to pray for the liberation of one's own lineage in the white direction. After one's own lineage is liberated, one should mainly benefit others according to the capacity and nature of sentient beings, and according to what is appropriate for them. Moreover, although renunciants do not aim to seek and accumulate wealth and other things as the purpose of giving, it is not that they cannot make offerings and give alms when wealth and other things appear as the nature of the fruits of past giving. Because in the past, the Holy Nagarjuna provided the necessities of life for many monks, and the Teacher Hero used to obtain great merit every day through past merit, and used it for the livelihood of all the monks. In this way, all the perfections of giving are said to be included in the six kinds of excellence, relying on the generation of bodhicitta is the excellent basis, no matter whether it is general or specific giving, not abandoning its intention is the excellent object, giving for the temporary and ultimate benefit of all sentient beings is the excellent purpose, being grasped by non-conceptual wisdom is the excellent skillful means, being grasped by the excellent dedication of dedicating the merit of giving to perfect enlightenment, eliminating the two obscurations of afflictive and cognitive

It is grasped by the holy ones in a completely pure manner. Therefore, the way to learn about the supreme generosity is to first make all of one's body, possessions, and wealth the object of aspiration, and without any stinginess, contempt, or intention to harm, to combine a vast generosity with the aspiration to attain enlightenment, which is the most supreme of all generosity. Root text: The nature of ethics is the vows that do not contradict each other. It is divided into the vow of abstaining from evil deeds, the vow of gathering virtuous dharmas, and the vow of benefiting sentient beings, which are explained as three aspects. Abstaining from the three doors of non-virtue is the vow of abstaining from evil deeds. Possessing the six perfections is the vow of gathering virtuous dharmas. Benefiting others is the vow of benefiting sentient beings. That is to say, guarding all that should be abandoned by the three doors, and having a firm intention to abandon actions that harm others at their root, is the nature of ethics. In terms of classification, the vow of abstaining from evil deeds generally refers to abandoning the ten non-virtuous actions, and specifically refers to abandoning the seven evil actions of body and speech. The vow of gathering virtuous dharmas is to practice virtuous actions such as the six perfections with four special characteristics: being separated from their respective opposing factors, being grasped by the wisdom that does not conceptually distinguish the three spheres, accomplishing the wishes of others, and causing disciples to mature into the three enlightenments through the result. The ethics of gathering virtuous dharmas abides in the nature of all six perfections, thus causing all unarisen virtues to arise in one's own mind, and causing arisen virtues to increase further and further. The ethics of benefiting sentient beings is the mind and its accompanying mental activities that engage in benefiting others in all ways, directly or indirectly. First, one skillfully gathers beings through material generosity, and then guides the minds of disciples with pleasing words, causing them to practice the Dharma. Therefore, one must also abide in actions that lead others to the path in any way possible. That is, the vow of discipline protects the mind from non-virtuous actions, the gathering of virtuous dharmas accomplishes the root of virtuous actions, and the ethics of benefiting sentient beings is dedicated to benefiting others. Root text: From an internal classification, the Pratimoksha vow is superior to the Bodhicitta vow, becoming superior through four distinctions: The Pratimoksha vow merely abandons evil actions that harm others at their root, the Bodhicitta vow is
