Root verses: If, in the past, one has not thoroughly examined and rashly made vows, and when abandoning those vows, one harbors doubt, then, by the power of the wisdom of the Buddhas and their heirs, they unerringly show the places of what to take and what to abandon. If I abandon the vows, I deceive all sentient beings, and will wander in endless lower realms. Therefore, even the happiness of a single sentient being, I will not destroy, nor do actions that cause my own downfall. This means that in worldly affairs, whether great or small, if one does not thoroughly examine the potential faults that may arise in the future and acts rashly, like the monks and laypeople of today who invoke spirits for the dead, symbolizing the abandonment of vows to benefit others and focusing solely on thoughts and actions that harm others, these actions are of no benefit to oneself or others and will instead cause harm. Such faults will inevitably lead to the abandonment of the three vows, especially the Bodhisattva's training, and one will harbor doubts about this. The Buddhas and their heirs, the Bodhisattvas, through the power of their wisdom, have thoroughly examined and researched, and have shown that the source of all present and future happiness and virtues is undoubtedly the practice of the Great Vehicle. If, as a result of such examination, errors occur in the places of what to take and what to abandon, and one abandons the training of the mind of enlightenment, then the one who abandons commits the sin of deceiving all sentient beings, and such a person will inevitably wander in endless lower realms in future lives, with no other choice. Therefore, it is extremely important to avoid the faults of harming sentient beings. Supreme bliss is only experienced by the Buddhas, but intermediate bliss, like a fire of rest in the suffering of samsara, is the precious mind of enlightenment. Therefore, it is very important to strive to prevent the mind of enlightenment from degenerating. Root verses: One who possesses both downfalls and the power of the mind of enlightenment, and alternates as a demon in samsara, will have a long delay in attaining the ground. A person who abandons the training is a madman. This means that for both actions that will surely lead to lower realms and the power of the mind of enlightenment," } ] ============================================================ིས་ཀར་ལྡན་པ་དག་འཁོར་བར་ཡང་རེས་མོས་ཀྱིས་འདྲེ་བར་བྱེད་པ་གང་ཡིནཔ་དེ་ནི་ས་དང་པོ་སོགས་འཐོབ་པ་ལ་ཡུན་རིང་དུཐོགས་པར་འགྱུར་ན་བསླབ་བྱ་བླངས་ནས་གཏོང་བའི་སྐྱེས་བུ་དེ་ནི་སྨྱོན་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨད་པའོ། །རྩ་བ། གང་ཞིག་གནོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་ཆུང་ངུ་ལའང་། །ཁྲོས་པའི་ང་རྒྱལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་བདོ་བ་རྣམས། །མདའ་མདུང་མཚོན་གྱི་ཆད་པ་བཟོད་བྱས་ནས། །དོན་མ་འགྲུབ་པར་ཕྱིར་ཕྱོགས་མི་བྱེད་ན། །རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བདག་ལ་དགྲར་གྱུར་པའི། །ཉོན་མོངས་སྟོབས་ཆེན་འདི་དང་གཡུལ་སྤྲད་ནས། །འཁོན་དུ་བཟུང་བའི་ཆོ་ག་མ་ཞིག་པར། །བསླབ་པ་བསྲུང་བའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་སུ་ཞིག་གཏོང་། །ཞེས་པ་ནི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་གང་སུ་ཞིག་ལ་གནོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་ཆུང་ངུ་ཙམ་ལའང་ཁྲོས་པའི་ང་རྒྱལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་བདོ་བ་སྟེ་བཟོད་དུ་མེད་པ་རྣམས་ནི་ལུས་སྲོག་ལ་ཕངས་པ་མེད་བཞིན་མདའ་མདུང་སོགས་མཚོན་གྱི་ཆད་པ་རྩུབ་མོ་བཟོད་པར་བྱས་ནས་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་དམིགས་པའི་གནོད་འཚེ་སྦྱོར་བའི་དོན་དེ་མ་འགྲུབ་བར་དུ་ཕྱིར་ཕྱོགས་པར་མི་བྱེད་ན། དེ་ལས་རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བདག་ལ་དགྲར་གྱུར་ངེས་པའི་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་དུག་ལྔ་དུག་གསུམ་སོགས་སྟོབས་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་པ་འདི་དག་དང་གཡུལ་སྤྲད་པ་ལྟ་བུའི་སྤང་གཉེན་གཉིས་འགྲན་ནས་འཁོན་དུ་བཟུང་བའི་ཆོ་ག་མ་ཞིག་བར་དུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་བསླབ་པ་བསྲུང་བའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་སྤྱོད་པ་དེ་ཉིད་སུ་ཞིག་གིས་གཏོང་ཕོད་མི་གཏོང་ངེས་པའོ། །ཞེས་པའོ། །རྩ་བ། འདི་ན་ཉོན་མོངས་བརྩོན་རར་བསྡམས་པ་ཡི། །བདག་གི་ཚོད་ཀྱང་རིག་པར་མི་འགྱུར་ན། །མཐའ་དག་འགྲོ་བ་དེ་ལས་དབུགས་འབྱིན་ཞིང་། །སྒྲོལ་བའི་བརྟན་པ་མི་ཉམས་ག་ལ་ཞིག །ཅེས་པ་ནི་དེ་ལ་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་དག་ནི་ཕྱིའི་ཡུལ་དང་ནང་དུ་དབང་པོ་དང་བར་ཞེས་གང་ནའང་མི་གནས་ཀྱང་ཀུན་རྟོག་ལས་གློ་བུར་དུ་བྱུང་ཞིང་ཀུན་རྟོག་དེ་ལའང་ཡུལ་མེད་ན་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་གཟུགས་ཅན་མ་ཡིན་པས་རྟེན་དང་བརྟེན་པ་ལྟར་ཡོད་ཀྱང་། རང་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འདིའི་བརྩོན་རར་བསྡམས་པའི་ཕྱིར་གཏི་མུག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་རྒྱུས་བདག་གི་ཚོད་ཀྱང་རིག་པར་མི་འགྱུར་ན་མཐའ་དག་འགྲོ་བ་དེ་ལས་དབུགས་འབྱིན་ཞིང་སྒྲོལ་བའི་བརྟན་པ་མི་ཉམས་པ་པ་ལྟ་ག་ལ་ཞིག །ཁྱད་པར་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་མི་ནུས་པས་རང་དོན་སྒྲུབ་བློའི་ཞི་བདེ་སྐྱེས་པ་ནི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་བཏང་བའོ། །རྩ་བ། བག་ཡོད་ཤེས་བཞིན་ལྡན་པའི་ས་གཞི་ལ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་མྱུ་གུ་བསྐྱེད་སླ་བས། །མི་ཉམས་བཟུང་ཞིང་དྲི

Those who possess greed also mix together in samsara in turn. If that is the case, then obtaining the first ground, etc., will be obstructed for a long time. Therefore, those who abandon the precepts they have taken are criticized as being insane. Root text: Whoever, even for a small cause and effect of harm, harbors intense anger and pride, willing to endure the punishment of swords and spears, and does not retreat until the purpose is achieved. Then, towards the powerful afflictions that are enemies to me in every way, engaging in battle with them, until the vow of revenge is extinguished, who would abandon the vow to protect the precepts? This means that whoever in the world, even for a small cause and effect of harm, harbors intense anger and pride, unable to bear it, willing to disregard their own life, enduring the cruel punishment of swords and spears, and does not retreat until the purpose of their harmful actions is achieved. Then, in comparison, towards the powerful afflictions such as the five poisons and three poisons, which are certain to be enemies to me in every way, engaging in battle with them, competing with each other like enemies, until the vow of revenge is extinguished, who would abandon the vow and conduct of protecting the Bodhisattva's precepts? That is impossible. Root text: If here, I am imprisoned in the prison of afflictions, and even my own limits cannot be recognized, then how can I liberate all beings from it, and not lose the determination to save them? This means that for afflictions, whether in external objects, internal senses, or between the two, they do not exist, but they arise suddenly from delusion, and delusion itself has no real place. Therefore, afflictions are not substantial, although they exist like dependence and what is depended upon, but in reality, all beings are imprisoned in this prison. Because of ignorance and other reasons, even one's own limits cannot be recognized, then how can all beings be liberated from it, and not lose the determination to save them? In particular, if one cannot benefit sentient beings, but instead seeks peace for one's own benefit, that is abandoning Bodhicitta. Root text: On the ground of mindfulness and awareness, the seedling of Bodhicitta is easy to grow, therefore, without
