Ask them, "Why do you say these things without fear, considering what?" and show the method of dispelling initial regret. It is like this. Root text: If distinguished, there are entering, nature, antidote, and transformation. The provisional meaning of entering is that the Hearers fear emptiness and abandon the Great Vehicle. By mentioning that form exists, they enter by understanding. They consider appearances to be like dreams. The provisional meaning of nature is the meaning of no self-nature. In order to understand, there are the three aspects of the completely imputed, the dependent, and the thoroughly established. First, nature is no self-nature; second, arising is no self-nature; third, ultimate reality is no self-nature. Therefore, they show that the dharmas are profound when spoken. The provisional meaning of antidote is to reverse others' wrong conceptions. Lifespan is not determined by lineage or body size. All Buddhas' form bodies and dharma bodies are equal. They consider it to be equal even in the field of accumulation. The provisional meaning of transformation is that they are not to be killed. Killing parents, likewise, is not to be killed. Killing the king and the one with pure conduct. Attachment, grasping, the basis of all, etc., are meanings that are imputed. If taken as real, it is a great mistake. This is about the provisional meaning of entering. The Hearers are afraid of hearing the selflessness of phenomena. Previously, when Atisha was in Tibet, two monks from India, who possessed twelve qualities of practice, came to request teachings. When Atisha spoke of the selflessness of persons, the two believed it. When he spoke of the selflessness of phenomena, they did not speak, but only said "request" and "fear." When he spoke of the aggregates of appropriation, they covered their ears. Atisha said that without loving-kindness, compassion, and the mind of enlightenment, even if one only keeps one vow, one will not achieve anything. In order to lead such people into the Great Vehicle, the sutra says, "Subhuti, form is a sign." and so on. Like this, by saying that form exists, the listeners will not be afraid, and the speaker considers appearances to be like dreams. The provisional meaning of nature is no self-nature, that is, the completely imputed is nature, the dependent is arising, and the thoroughly established is ultimate reality without self-nature. Therefore, they show that the dharmas are profound when spoken. The provisional meaning of antidote is that among the thousand Buddhas, Shakyamuni Buddha's form is small, and his light is only one fathom.

Considering that some might mistakenly think that Shakyamuni Buddha is inferior to other Buddhas due to his short lifespan, etc., to dispel such wrong views, he explained the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of Vairochana Buddha, like an inexhaustible wheel of adornments, and personally acknowledged himself as the basis of all Buddhas' manifestations. The listeners understand that the nature of the physical body is equal and non-dual, while the speakers consider the three equalities: equality in perfecting the accumulations and attaining the Dharmakaya for their own benefit, and equality in time for performing altruistic activities for the benefit of others. Regarding translating in a veiled manner: to dispel the slander that "the ascetic Gautama preaches the Dharma even without being requested," and to dispel the idea that "if one attains special achievements merely through six years of asceticism, then his realization is too shallow." As it is said: "Profound, free from attachment, luminous, unconditioned Dharma, like nectar, I have attained. But to whom should I teach it? No one will understand. I shall remain silent and alone in the forest." This shows that the nature of Dharma is extremely difficult to realize. In particular, translating the meaning and words into contradictory ways. For example, saying "I killed the beautiful moon flower," and so on. In the *Ratnakuta Sutra* it is also said: "Father and mother are to be killed, the king and the two who hold to purity, and destroying them together with all their retinue, that person becomes pure." Like this, the root of wandering in samsara is craving, so the father refers to craving, and the mother refers to grasping. The Alaya consciousness is the king who serves as the basis for various habitual tendencies, and the Brahmin's clinging to the assembly of fears, the ascetic's clinging to the superiority of discipline and asceticism are the two who hold to purity. The internal sense bases, the eight consciousnesses contained by the grasper and the grasped, are the retinue. By the name of destroying them, if one mistakenly thinks that attaining Buddhahood is when they are purified by not remaining in one's own continuum, then that is a great mistake. This can also be summarized into the four categories of joining a veiled intention, nature, antidote, and translating with a veiled intention. Root text: In short, the difference between intention and veiled intention is: Intention is merely what is thought in the mind, and does not depend on grasping the other. Veiled intention depends on grasping the other, it is the eye for distinguishing the scriptures. That is, intention is merely what is thought in the mind.
