and happiness. When will I be able to live together? It means that the place at the end of the village is called the borderland, and the place far away from the village with only a distant reputation is called the secluded place. Such a place is pleasing to the mind and increases sorrow, away from merchants and farmers and sinful friends, not troubled by the hardships of using the body for taxes and corvée, without birds and wild animals making unpleasant sounds, clear water and fruits, etc., are abundant for daily use, the caves of rocky mountains and the houses of leaves are spacious, and it is comfortable to be accompanied by the shade of trees. When will I be able to live there together? Root verse: There, the new guests of the four seasons, The forests that show off the manifestation of change, As a reason for not being afflicted, Look to the merit of taking seven steps towards solitude. It means that in that secluded place away from the hustle and bustle, the forests that show off the manifestation of change of the new guests of the four seasons, namely spring, summer, autumn and winter, as a reason for not being a place for increasing afflictions, look to the merit of taking seven steps towards solitude, and from all aspects of sutras, tantras and key instructions, going there and diligently practicing can obtain benefits. That's what it means. Root verse: Where meditation is extremely stable, Is the characteristic of higher mind training, The ritual of the body arising from interdependence is, The seven aspects of Vairochana are the lifeblood of the mind, Diligently practice non-dual samadhi, With any object of attachment and discrimination, Bind the mind to the meaning of virtue, The appearance of elaboration dissolves into the one taste of dharmata, The object of appearance is not interrupted but there is no attachment, Awareness is non-conceptual samadhi on the object, The subsequent attainment of vipashyana is of the same nature. It means that in the secluded place mentioned above, where meditation, that is, samadhi, becomes extremely stable, that is the characteristic of higher mind training, like this, the ritual of the way of dwelling of the body arising from interdependence is, the vajra posture with legs crossed, the two hands in equipoise, etc., the seven aspects of Vairochana, with the mind as the lifeblood, constantly strive for non-dual samadhi, and with any

With unwavering attention and discernment towards anything, bind body, speech, and mind to virtuous deeds, and dissolve all phenomena that become the objects of the six consciousnesses into a single dharmata. Although the multitude of appearing objects does not cease, there is no attachment to them. The basis for practice is the mind, and its nature is as stated in the Ratnakuta Sutra: "O Light-protector, if the mind is completely sought, it cannot be found. What cannot be found is invisible. What is invisible is not past, future, or present, nor anything else." These and other details can be understood from the extensive commentary. Root text: If classified, there are the meditation of ordinary beings' preliminary practice, the meditation that distinguishes the meaning of goodness, and the three kinds of Tathagata meditation. There are four kinds of meditation based on the four possibilities of existence and non-existence. Similarly, the number of formless and peaceful states. The samadhi in the continuum of one who has not entered the path is the meditation of formless states and the preliminary practice of ordinary beings. The samadhi of those who have entered the path of accumulation and application reveals the path of liberation and is known as the meditation that distinguishes the meaning of goodness. The first ground is the samadhi of the noble ones, and because it is without outflows, it is the Tathagata's goodness. This means that if meditation is classified, the preliminary practice of ordinary beings is the samadhi in the continuum of those who have not entered the path, and it exists in the formless realms and is the worldly path. The meditation that distinguishes the meaning of goodness is the samadhi of the paths of accumulation and application, which reveals the path of liberation. The Tathagata's goodness is the outflow-free samadhi in the continuum of the noble ones from the first ground onwards. Regarding these three kinds of meditation, root text: The essence of all is holding the mind within. The cause is continuous mindfulness and diligence. If distracted, one should return to it again. The function is to generate happiness and accomplish siddhis. The result is the attainment of direct knowledge and so forth. This means that the essence of meditation is to keep the mind focused inward, to maintain it continuously with mindfulness, and to cultivate it depending on the conditions of diligence. If one is led astray by external appearances and internal thoughts and becomes distracted, one should not relax the grip of mindfulness and awareness, but return to it, that is, return to the previous meditation. By striving in this way, the function is to bring happiness to the three doors temporarily and to accomplish siddhis, and the ultimate result
