Now it is divided into three categories. In terms of skillful means, it is the treasury of vidyadharas. Books exist in writing, which is the basis of vows. This is to say that, according to the meaning expressed and the way of expression, the teachings are divided into two types: scriptural teachings and realization teachings. Among them, the twelve categories of scriptures of the scriptural teachings are: As stated in the Great Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses: Sutra, Geya (verse), Vyakarana (prophecy), Gatha (stanza), Udana (inspired utterance), Nidana (origin story), Avadana (parable), Itivrttaka (accounts of past lives), Jataka (birth stories), Adbhutadharma (wonders), and Upadesha (instruction) are the twelve categories of scriptures. Among them, teaching the practice of conventional truth is provisional meaning, and teaching the practice of ultimate truth is definitive meaning. From the perspective of antidotes, it is divided into three pitakas, namely, the first five of the twelve categories of scriptures are the sutra pitaka of the shravakas, the middle three are the vinaya pitaka of the shravakas, and the jataka section of the last four is the wheel of the vinaya pitaka of the bodhisattvas, the extensive section and the wonderful section are the sutra pitaka of the bodhisattvas, and the upadesha section is the common dharma of both shravakas and bodhisattvas, which is the abhidharma pitaka. The self-Buddha does not have a separate pitaka, because it is aimed at the shravaka's pitaka. In short, the Sutra Pitaka explains all three trainings. The Vinaya Pitaka is the higher training in discipline and the higher training in mind, because one who has discipline can gradually attain samadhi. The Abhidharma Pitaka is the higher training in wisdom, because it explains the reality of things without distortion. These are also distinguished from the perspective of those to be tamed; in terms of skillful means, it is the treasury of vidyadharas. All four of these pitakas also arise from the aggregation of causes and conditions of the owner, resulting in letters. The aggregation of letters produces names, the aggregation of names produces sentences, and the aggregation of sentences produces books, which exist in books and are the basis of refuge for those who take refuge. The root is: The Dharma of realization begins with mindfulness, sequentially possessing all the qualities of the five paths, as well as the abandonment and realization of the noble ones, the essence of wisdom, the generation stage and the completion stage, dharani and exhaustion, the four paths of learning and the nature of the path of no learning, the ten bhumis of the cause, the thirteen bhumis of the result, etc., the classifications of Vajrayana are inconceivable, and whatever wisdom relies on the continuum is realization.

Because it is the support of qualities, it is called a ground. Among them, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas and Bodhisattvas, the former are said in the Middle Length Prajnaparamita Sutra to have eight grounds: the ground of lineage, the eighth ground, the ground of seeing, the ground of attenuation, the ground of detachment from desire, the ground of having done what needs to be done, the ground of Shravakas, and the ground of Pratyekabuddhas. Bodhisattvas are said to have ten grounds. What becomes such a support is the five paths, among which the first, which mainly practices hearing, thinking, and accumulating merit, is the Path of Accumulation. In the small stage of the Path of Accumulation, the mindfulness of the body with mindfulness is like the sky in Samadhi, and in the post-attainment stage, one meditates on impurity and illusion. Mindfulness of feeling, does not arise in Samadhi, and in the post-attainment stage, whatever is felt is meditated upon as suffering and without essence. Mindfulness of mind, is empty in nature, and in the post-attainment stage, one meditates on non-cessation and non-abiding. Mindfulness of Dharma, Samadhi is equanimity, and in the post-attainment stage, one meditates on the eight similes of illusion. In the middle stage of the Path of Accumulation, unwholesome Dharmas that have not arisen do not arise, and those that have arisen are cut off. Wholesome Dharmas that have not arisen arise, and those that have arisen increase further. In the great stage of the Path of Accumulation, the four legs of miraculous power are, by meditating on the one-pointedness of mind in Samadhi that combines Shamatha and Vipashyana, the meaning of eyes, clairvoyance, and miraculous powers, etc., is accomplished. That is, the four Samadhis of aspiration, effort, mind, and investigation. Combining non-conceptual wisdom with the Path of Seeing is the characteristic of the Path of Preparation. The nature of the path abides in the four: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme Dharma. In the two, heat and peak, one meditates on the five faculties, namely, the faculty of faith, the faculty of effort, the faculty of mindfulness, the faculty of Samadhi, and the faculty of wisdom. In the two, forbearance and Dharma, one meditates on the five powers, namely, the power of faith, etc., transforming as above. Thus, the wisdom of the four parts of the Path of Preparation, with the three distinctions of small, medium, and large, is called the twelve aspects of decisive understanding. Among them, heat and peak are small, forbearance is medium, and supreme Dharma is large, that is, the Path of Preparation is the arising of the Path of Seeing in this life. Path
