It is said in the tradition of past scholars and accomplished ones that if there is faith and it abides in the continuum of a person, abiding separately, and if internal contradictions occur, then the higher of the higher is taken as primary. Although the lower appears to contradict the Pratimoksha, it is in accordance with the higher, because avoiding harm and giving benefit are the same. If something contradicts all three, then permission is absolutely impossible, and if permission is given, it is impossible not to contradict, that is the nature of phenomena. Root verse: Thus, for the Hearers, it is a downfall, and for the Bodhisattvas, it is a similar misdeed. The intoxicant that transforms into the substance of vows in Mantra, when used by a person whose conceptual gatherings arise as deities, both the basis and the intention transform into something else. It is not a Bhikshu, not a Bodhisattva, not without skillful means, not overcome by the power of attachment and afflictions. All appearances are clear as deities and mandalas, and the substance of vows to be used is of the nature of nectar. To whom is the transformation of consciousness allowed? Giving to the Bhikshus and the Sangha of the Pratimoksha and the Bodhisattva is superior to offering to the Yidam. The Tsok also becomes increasing. The other parts of the training are also explained by this. This means that drinking alcohol is a downfall for the Hearers, and a similar misdeed for the Bodhisattvas, but intoxicants, in the context of Mantra, are said to be substances of vows. Thus, for a person who properly uses it, whose conceptual gatherings arise as deities due to familiarity with the two stages, both the basis and the intention transform from the ordinary. It is neither a Bhikshu of the Pratimoksha nor a holder of discipline of the Bodhisattva, and likewise, it is not someone without skillful means who is overcome by the power of attachment and afflictions. All appearances are clear as deities and mandalas, and the intoxicant to be used is transformed from the nature of nectar, transforming the ordinary clinging and conceptual consciousness. Permission is given to such a person. The meaning of that is also that giving to the Sangha of the Pratimoksha and the Bodhisattva, the Bhikshus and the Sangha, who have not transformed from ordinary thoughts and actions, is superior to offering to the Yidam deity, and the Tsok also becomes increasing. The other parts of the training are also to be understood by this explanation. That's it. Root verse: However, self-nature, non-mixture, prohibition must be complete, essence transformed, qualities also increasing, the key is

The saying, "Primarily use the non-contradictory timing," refers to the fact that there is no mixing of self-characteristics. The objects of taking the three vows, the intention to take them, and the rituals of taking them are determined at different times in a way that does not mix their respective characteristics. Therefore, their respective natures are not based on the same foundation, and they are grasped as separate characteristics, so there is no mixing of self-characteristics. As for what needs to be completely abandoned, what is to be abandoned is affliction, and what is needed is not to be bound by it, but to abandon it in individual liberation in a way that each path is one, to transform it into the bodhisattva path, and to make it the path in mantra. In this regard, the Hearers realize that the external, coarse objects of grasping and the internal, grasping consciousness with continuity are without self-nature, so they are certain to be liberated from samsara. However, because they consider the subtle particles of the grasped object and the momentary consciousness of the grasping mind to be truly existent, they abandon afflictions as if they were enemies. Bodhisattvas, on the other hand, know that the internal, grasping consciousness is merely an illusion arising from conditions and is not truly established in reality. However, the imputation of external objects is the completely conceptualized and other-powered nature. Therefore, with the wisdom that realizes the perfectly established nature, they know that both objects and consciousness are unborn, and thus they train and transform afflictions and conceptual thoughts into the nature of reality. The Vajra Vehicle is not confused about transforming afflictions and conceptual thoughts into deities and wisdom. In particular, by seeing the true meaning of the nature of reality, they realize the meaning that transcends acceptance and rejection. In short, the Hearers view the two truths as substantially existent, so they abandon them through individual liberation. Bodhisattvas view conventional truth as substantially existent, so they train it with emptiness and compassion. Mantrayana purifies and liberates it as the nature of the five wisdoms. Therefore, all three are the same continuum, and their non-virtues are the same as vows. Furthermore, beginners should not engage in the activities of yogis, yogis should not engage in the activities of accomplished ones, and accomplished ones should not engage in the activities of omniscient ones. This saying is also extremely important. Root text: Those who have engaged in examining the limits of accomplishment believe that the transformation of places is one essence, that the basis of one is not the same, that all three are substantially contradictory and increasing, that they are distinguished from the boundary of giving up and obtaining, that they are non-mixing like stacked peaks, and that like the sequential gathering of the three, sun, moon, and stars, they believe that their own light is not diminished and that the difference in abilities is added. This saying is
