To the departed Buddhas and the assembly of Bodhisattvas, sons of the lineage, the service of bathing is performed with jeweled vases filled with various fragrant waters, like the celestial and human daughters vying with each other, with ever-changing songs and music. Those women with long, slender eyes, skilled in the rituals of bathing, wipe the body with silk like the celestial banner (Sanskrit Devanagari: pañcalika, Sanskrit Romanization: pañcalika, Literal Chinese meaning: five-colored banner), wiping the places that have been bathed before, and focusing on service. The color of the silk is not just one, but like a rainbow symbolizing power, it is colorful. Like woven silk, without ordinary flaws, the celestial substance emanated by Samadhi, no matter where it comes from, is like the manifestation of one's own mind, like buying with skill. If, like the wish-fulfilling tree of the heavens, one can freely obtain the desired food and clothing, then it is likened to the "banner (Sanskrit Devanagari: pañcalika, Sanskrit Romanization: pañcalika, Literal Chinese meaning: five-colored banner)" sold by the tree, and named with the name obtained by trade. This silk has no heavy shortcomings, and has the advantages of being light, thin, and soft, and is the best silk. Anoint it with fragrant incense and fragrant water, and also offer to the great Bodhisattvas, precious jewelry that is immeasurable in value, and that one would be ashamed to speak of, such as bracelets, armlets, earrings, silk crowns, etc. Even Shakyamuni, who has abandoned the merits of desire, accepts them like a miserly hungry ghost, for the sake of accumulating merit for us, and prays for the completion of the accumulation. And like Avalokiteshvara and the eight great close sons, and the sixteen Bodhisattvas of the Bhadrakalpa such as the one who leads all out of the lower realms, and the Bodhisattva Dharma-shri who holds the form of a householder, and Sadāprarudita, Licchavi, Vimalakirti, etc., are all offered to them. Like a chariot of fragrance filling the entire three-thousand-great-thousand world, the fragrance of sandalwood incense wafted by the wind, if it is used to anoint the Buddhas, the source of merit, then it can steal the steadfastness of the Buddha's body with its marks and signs, like refined gold.

The fourth is generosity, like a vast crystal ground, covered with a thousand stamens of immeasurable loving lotuses. The sun and moon of immeasurable compassion shine brightly, inviting the great joy of the gods, the Bhagavan and his retinue to dwell. Again, as in the root text, abandoning frivolous habits such as jumping, running, and falling, with a respectful bodily posture. With reverence in the heart, how is realization displayed? Like making bouquets of various flowers, holding the palms together as if holding a small box. Furthermore, like all the qualities of the Sugatas, such as possessing wisdom and feet, being bound by place and unable to go elsewhere. I have come to this garden of faith, not like being disgusted with suffering, but generated by faith, so that even the hairs on my body stand on end. The first of the seven branches is prostration. Again, like the new autumn moon being called young, and like bathing, appearing in the reflection of a pond. The peacock girl, implying that she has no husband, plays and frolics in the water, like my body, countless youths like the number of dust particles, busily prostrating in a confusing manner. Therefore, the way to prostrate is to stretch the body respectfully on the ground, like placing a tree on the ground, which is called the lamp offering prostration. Among them, the head touches the ground, and the other four limbs also touch the ground, which is the five-limbed prostration. Again, placing the palms together at the head, neck, and heart, while visualizing the Three Jewels, doing as before, repeating this three times is considered nine prostrations. Or, like with a lama, first meeting, then offering a gift, and finally inquiring about their health, prostrating three times with the five limbs as before, is also called nine prostrations. The branch of offering is. Again, the branch of giving is both offering upwards and giving downwards, both being complete, meaning for actual wealth that is not bound by stinginess. Even this cannot fully express it, so it is said to be unparalleled, better than before is the mentally created offering.
