Having abandoned the obscurations on each ground, etc., are four. Similarly, the five bodhicittas that follow the five paths. The number is like that in relation to the six perfections. The divisions of the grounds are twenty-two, etc., are included in being pervaded by aspiration through thought and by practice through action. Thus, these two, aspiration and action, also include the two bodhicittas of ordinary beings and noble ones. The three of abstaining from misdeeds, accumulating virtuous dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings are the three bodhicittas that depend on the three trainings. In particular, for the practitioner on the paths of accumulation and junction, the eight aggregates, together with their habitual tendencies, obscure their own element, which is like the sun, and they cannot see it, so they only practice on the ground of faith. From the first to the seventh ground, due to the turning away of the afflicted mind, hundreds of thousands of qualities manifest, and because one aspect of the obscuration of the element is purified, the vision of wisdom is slightly clear, so it is called pure intention. In the three purifications, the way the five gates and the alaya consciousness are transformed is that on the eighth ground, the mind consciousness is transformed, and one attains non-conceptual wisdom. On the ninth, the five gate consciousnesses are transformed, and one attains a pure realm. On the tenth, the alaya consciousness is transformed, and one attains perfect wisdom. Because of the vastness of aspiration and qualities, it is called the maturation bodhicitta. On the ground of Buddhahood, it is the ultimate bodhicitta that has abandoned all obscurations. Similarly, the five bodhicittas that correspond to the five paths of accumulation, junction, seeing, meditation, and no-more-learning, and the six ways of generating bodhicitta in relation to the six perfections. Explaining the twenty-two divisions of the grounds, etc., means that they are included in being pervaded by aspiration through thought and by practice through action. The divisions of the grounds are twenty-two. Acharya Mitra said: They are earth, gold, moon, fire, treasure and jewel source sea, vajra, mountain, medicine, virtuous friend and, wish-fulfilling jewel, sun, song, king's treasury and great road, riding, adorned water and, musical instrument, river, clouds, etc., there are twenty-two aspects. It is said that there are three types of aspiration mind and nineteen types of action mind, which are from the path of accumulation to the tenth ground, and the eleventh ground is the Buddha ground, so it does not combine with this. Root: Whoever seeks happiness for himself, within the gate that is always without interruption, begging for

Not disturbing the mind, that is called eternal offering. If it is worthy of praise, then for the benefit of all sentient beings, merely generating a moment of altruistic intention can close the door to the lower realms, and in the states of gods and humans, the merit of enjoying happiness is inexhaustible. This is to say that if someone strives to do good for their own benefit, always taking from the door of an uninterrupted treasury, preventing desires in the mind, and not disturbing the mind, such a thing is worthy of being called an eternal offering, worthy of being held as an object of praise. For the benefit of all sentient beings, merely generating a moment of altruistic intention can close the door to the three lower realms, and being born in the states of gods and humans, the merit of enjoying happiness is more excellent than the former, and is inexhaustible. Thus it is said. Root text: The merit of especially entering into samadhi is boundless, for the ritual that is pervaded by actual union, from the beginning, having a mind that does not turn back, the vow to liberate beings is extremely firm. From that time on, even if one carelessly falls asleep, merit will continuously increase. From the level of practice, this is said to be reasonable. This is to say that the special thing is that from the beginning of making the aspiration, the merit of entering into samadhi is boundless. Regarding this, entering into the ritual of actual union, from the beginning, having a Bodhicitta that does not turn back, the vow to liberate beings is extremely firm, and without degenerating, from that time on, even when one is in a careless, non-committal state or when losing mindfulness such as falling asleep, merit will continuously increase, just as it is said from the level of Mahayana practice, this is reasonable. Root text: The accumulation of many eons will also be shortened, just like livestock, elephants, vehicles, sun and moon, etc., the speed of travel is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, boundless. With the power of great intelligence and diligence, the vows of three countless eons will also be destroyed. This is to say that, in this way, those with sharp faculties need three countless eons, those with medium faculties need seven countless eons, and those with dull faculties need thirty-three countless eons to attain Buddhahood. However, for those who have definitely entered the Mahayana path, the accumulation of many eons will also be shortened by each force of Bodhicitta, for example, the size of Bodhicitta
