Once it is no longer like that, her face, as beautiful as a garden of Kundha flowers, will also suffer blame for past misfortunes, and this transformation also originates from the power of the Buddha. Explanation ends here. Third, vowing to write. Vowing to write is: Root verse: The treasure that perfects the virtues of the wise, condensing the essence into a string of pearls, although it does not boast of its splendor, yet for the sake of expounding the true Dharma, it is also appropriate to listen, contemplate, and meditate. It means that, like this, the wise Buddhas are represented by the ocean of sutras and mantras, and the noble ones take the five great treatises and the four-branch commentaries as the standard. Although there are Buddha's words and commentaries, if one has not seen the truth of Dharma nature, has not received the permission of the gods, and has not studied the five sciences, those evil works created at will have few of the three qualities of Buddhism, but may be mixed with the six evil doctrines of externalists, like a roaring mountain torrent, with no merit to speak of. But this treatise is not like that, because it can independently use the three elements of writing, is related to the Three Jewels, and undoubtedly follows the footsteps of the Indian and Tibetan sages, including the Six Ornaments and the Two Supreme Ones, so please put aside your doubts. In order to expound the true Dharma of listening, contemplating, meditating, teaching, debating, and writing, it is also appropriate to listen to it. After such admonition. Second, the content of the treatise. Explaining the difficulty of obtaining leisure. At the beginning of entering the content of the treatise, first reveal the faults of samsara: Root verse: From beginningless time, the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death, torments sentient beings like a plague, the medicine of liberation is like nectar, but those who have the true Dharma in hand abandon it, how shall I admonish them? That is to say, samsara has no beginning and cannot be speculated, the four sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death constantly torment, like a plague, and the great medicine that can benefit sentient beings, like nectar, is only the true Dharma. Since the true Dharma is already in hand, whether to do good or evil depends entirely on oneself.

At this time, if one turns the three doors of body, speech, and mind towards evil and abandons virtuous deeds, one will certainly be cut off from the path of liberation. So how should I explain to those beings who act in a way that reverses good and evil? Even if I explain, it will be difficult to be of help. This is expressed in an implied way. Next, in order to explain the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, the faults of the eight states of unfreedom will be revealed. Root verse: For a long time, in the wilderness of samsara, the head and limbs have been cut off and suffered. Those future sufferings that have been transformed into hidden ones still crave the happiness of the heavens and are foolish. The meaning is that it is not just a short time, but from a very long time, without beginning, in the wilderness of samsara. The so-called "wilderness of samsara" refers to a place where there is no one to help, and it is full of enemies, thieves, robbers, wild beasts, poisonous snakes, etc. inflicting harm. In such eight states of unfreedom, if one repeatedly transmigrates, the head and limbs, etc. are cut off and amputated, suffering great pain. Even in the present situation, one only obtains a human body and enters the gate of the sacred Dharma. It seems that there are many good things, but one has never transcended the eight worldly dharmas. If one observes carefully, only those without wives are regarded as the most supreme renunciates; knowing the method of exorcism is regarded as the Vajrayana, and so on. Placing hope on this, but not considering faith, vows, purity, compassion, etc. at all, like some Indian heretics, some Tibetan Bonpos, indulging in extravagant sacrifices of flesh and blood, boasting of performing meritorious deeds for the living and accumulating virtuous roots for the dead, etc., all beings who cause the three doors of body, speech, and mind to act in unwholesome ways, especially those who rely on the Dharma and perform sacrifices such as killing, will certainly fall into the three lower realms and other states of unfreedom after this life, and suffer immeasurable pain. This is unavoidable. However, in this present age, pervasive is the suffering of conditioning, which is not visible on the surface, but the future suffering that is difficult to bear is hidden. Those who still hope to be born in the human realm are like foolish cattle who desire happiness but act on the cause of suffering. Root verse: Those who are confused in mind will fall from here again, to the three lower realms and the realm of non-perception, to the borderlands.
