It is explained that one should understand it in this way. Moreover, at the beginning of composing this treatise, the author praises, and later those who listen and contemplate should also remember it in this way. Having shown the source and reason of the Three Jewels a little, now, with benefit related, generating joy: The root verse says, "With the letter known as the Three Jewels, making the pearl vine extremely happy, the face of the demon girl like a cluster of Kundaa flowers, for those who do evil deeds, the power of the Buddha appears to turn towards." Thus it is said. As it is said in the scriptures: "The teacher, the supreme Buddha Jewel, the protector, the supreme Dharma Jewel, the guide, the supreme Sangha Jewel, I prostrate to the supreme Three Jewels." As it is said, in general, the sound of the letter widely known as the Three Jewels, is vast and continuous, even in the place called the eight unfavorable conditions, it is inferior due to the lack of proper hearing and practice. Wherever it is spread, whether high or low, noble or humble, one will surely obtain the seeds of goodness and excellence. Combining it with a previous story to tell about the teacher: As it is said in the Wish-Fulfilling Vine: "A merchant named Norchen, occurred in Varanasi in the past. His family was fortunate, named Rinchen Den. When he was the fifth owner, that woman, with reverence, on top of the stupa, offered and presented a huge necklace. Due to the ripening of merit, he became the daughter of the lord of Singala, the pearl vine. In another life, he became fat and foolish due to wealth, he slandered and mocked offerings, therefore he became a slave for a long time. Whatever deeds, good or non-good, beings sow in the field of birth." As it is said, when the slave Rohita of the Shakya clan was born, because the teacher was teaching the Dharma, both the wife of the Shakya clan and the slave went, the mistress's pearl necklace was left at home, when the slave was sent to fetch it, she thought, there is no opportunity to hear such profound Dharma, I must go, what a terrible fate, just as she was preparing to go, the teacher knew her thoughts, taught her a verse, she recited it as she walked, on the way, a cow

Immediately after passing away after being struck by Ga, she was reborn as the daughter of the King of Simhala. As soon as she was born, a great rain of pearls fell, so she was named Pearl Woman or Pearl Vine. Through the power of her merit, when merchants from Shravasti crossed the ocean and arrived in Simhala at night, they sang some verses spoken by the Teacher. When the daughter heard them, she was captivated and said, "Good people, sing that song again." The merchants said, "This is not a song, it is the Buddha's teaching." As soon as Pearl Woman heard the name of the Buddha, she was like a peacock hearing the summer thunder, and when she asked about the Buddha's history, the merchants told the story of the Buddha's life as much as they could. The daughter was even more delighted than before, and sent this letter to the Teacher. Knowing this, the Teacher read it: "Alas, you are mindfulness itself, which is obtained by the merchandise of merit! You are the excellent medicine of existence that destroys decline, suffering, and desire! The words that come from the Blessed One are the land that cultivates the experience of true value! This Blessed One is my nectar, and has become a truly great fortune!" Having seen this, the Teacher displayed his own body, which even a painter could not draw, as if radiating light on a cloth, and sent it back to the daughter with some verses of teaching. As soon as they met, she understood the nature of the Three Refuges, the Five Precepts, Dependent Origination, the Noble Eightfold Path, and so on, and manifested the fruit of entering the stream. Then the daughter brought the people of that country into the Dharma. She offered one bag each of the finest pearls from Magadha to the Three Jewels. The image given to the daughter was known as Thupa Öser, and it was the beginning of all images. Thinking in this way, all the causes and effects of the Three Jewels are related to the words of the Dharma, and these words of the Dharma are like letters that are suitable for all beings. The nature of samsara, formed from afflictions and conceptual thoughts, is called a demon girl, bearing the burden of the eight worldly dharmas, which is a derogatory term. They did not obtain a connection with the Buddha's teachings, and their minds did not turn towards virtue.
