Moreover, the wisdom that can well distinguish the characteristics of sectarianism and boasting, etc., also arises from relying on listening, it can destroy the enemy forces of afflictions, manifest wisdom, and when one becomes free from afflictions, the army of demons cannot find an opportunity. Thus it is explained. Root text: Here, if one grasps what is the way of abiding of nature? It is the ultimate truth that is beyond speech and thought. From the perspective of mind, it is speech and thought. Examining and appearing phenomena are all within the scope of conventional truth. Establishing and realizing the two truths, yet it has transcended the subject and object of realization. No one can directly realize it, there is nothing to look forward to, neither gain nor non-gain. The arising of wisdom that truly accords with emptiness. Then it is established as the name of realization. This means that in this treatise, if one grasps what is the way of abiding of nature? That is, when making a decision on the way of abiding of the nature of mind, although it is beyond speech and thought, it is the ultimate truth. However, if measured from the perspective of mind, it is falsely assumed to be speakable and thinkable, and the appearing phenomena are established as conventional truth for observation, but it has transcended the subject and object of realizing the two truths, so no one can directly realize it. If one understands that such a state has nothing to look forward to, and there is neither gain nor non-gain, then the arising of wisdom that truly accords with emptiness is merely the establishment of the name of realization. Thus, in the meditative equipoise of the first bhumi of the noble ones and in the state of Buddhahood, with objects such as knowable and knower, none are established as self-existent, so it has transcended the grasped and the grasper, that is, the object of the wisdom of the knower is also pacified, at that time, all the objects of mind and mental factors have ceased. Realizing the nature of reality that is beyond speech and thought is the ultimate truth. Root text: Whatever is dependently originated is the treasury of all phenomena without exception. With what is the wisdom of reflection, truly entering is the key. The so-called phenomena, whatever is dependently originated, is the treasury of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana without exception. With what is the wisdom of reflection, that is, truly entering with the three trainings of listening, contemplation, and meditation, is like a key to open the latch of the door of phenomena. Therefore, with the wisdom of reflection, one understands

Having examined with valid reasoning and scriptural authority, the determination of the true meaning, which accords with the aspect of profound wisdom, completely transcends the realm of conceptual thought, then one should distinguish its nature and practice manifest realization. Root verse: All phenomena of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, do not come from anywhere, do not go to anywhere, do not remain, but abide in the dependent origination of the nature. The phenomena themselves are also like arising and ceasing, appearing as emptiness from the very moment of appearance. Not abiding in the extremes of elaboration, it is shown as the very nature of the Middle Way. This means that the deceptive and false things that appear as objects of the six senses, and the impermanent and conditioned samsara, are the cause of arising with self-nature; nirvana is also just a nominal designation on the nature of reality. Thus, all phenomena that appear as phenomena and reality do not come from anywhere in the beginning, so they are called unborn, which is not the past; they do not stay anywhere in the middle, so they have no self-nature, which is not the present; they do not leave to anywhere in the end, so they are called unceasing, which is not the future. Root verse: Pure and impure are both temporary, although they do not exist in reality, they appear as non-existent. They are apprehended by imputation, and four extremes arise from discrimination and analysis. Existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, even abiding in the middle is not wise. This means that both pure nirvana and impure samsara are just temporary illusory appearances, and do not actually exist. Although they do not exist, they appear as non-existent, because they are apprehended by imputation. In this way, for the reality of the nature, four extreme views arise from discrimination and analysis, like the root of the three hundred and sixty heretical views of the outsiders. Even some internal Buddhists, because they follow these heretical views, or because of errors in view and practice, develop faults such as grasping at existence, non-existence, permanence, and annihilation in the mind. Most people, although they claim not to have fallen into the four extremes, abide in the middle way, that is, they verbally acknowledge the Middle Way, but are arrogant and conceited with their self-righteous views, which are not the actions of the wise. Root verse: Just as a silkworm binds itself with its cocoon, it binds itself with the doctrines of desire. Here, the phenomena established by the mind have no arising, no ceasing, no staying, no going, no coming. Not one, not different, not permanent, not annihilated. All elaborations are completely pacified, knowing this to be the nature itself, is thinking, is arising, is
