For those who do not understand mantras and the like, and who have doubts and develop inferior minds, in order to turn them to the inferior Dharma that delights in inferior names, and to guide them onto the correct path, the words are adjusted to conform to the Dharma of words, and explained to conform to both the meaning and the Mahayana, so that there will be cases where the words agree but the meaning does not, like this: In the past, King Ajatasatru killed his own father, King Bimbisara, and committed the five heinous crimes. After some time, the king felt remorse, and in his own house, he received alms and hand washing from Bodhisattvas and great Shravakas. The king, in order to listen to the Dharma, sat before Manjushri, who had manifested as a youth, and requested Manjushri to eliminate my remorse. Manjushri said: Great King, your remorse cannot be eliminated even by Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. Having said this, the king fell to the ground because he could not find refuge. Then, the great Elder Kashyapa said to the king: Great King, the noble Manjushri is skilled in expressing himself in veiled language. Do not be afraid, do not be frightened, ask him what he meant by saying this, and he will tell you the method of eliminating remorse. Like this. Root text: The divisions are entry, nature, antidote, and transformation. The veiled meaning of entry is: Which Shravaka is afraid of emptiness and abandons the Mahayana? By saying that there is form, it is understood as established and entered. It is considered that appearances are like dreams. The veiled meaning of nature is: the meaning of no self-nature. In order to understand, there are the three aspects of the completely imputed, the other-dependent, and the thoroughly established. First, the nature is no self-nature; second, arising is no self-nature; third, the ultimate is no self-nature. Therefore, the Dharmas are taught in a profound way. The veiled meaning of the antidote is: to dispel the wrong conceptions of others. Life is not determined by lineage and stature. The form bodies and Dharma bodies of all Buddhas are equal. For the objects of accumulation, it is also considered as equal. The veiled meaning of transformation is: not to be killed. Killing parents, likewise, is not to be destroyed. Destroying the king and the celibate. For attachment, grasping, alaya, etc., it is an imputed meaning. If it is grasped as real, it will be a mistake.

The term "Greatness" refers to considering the listener's capacity when introducing them to the teachings. Shravakas (listeners of the Hinayana) are frightened upon hearing about the absence of self in phenomena. In the past, when Lord Atisha was in Tibet, two monks from India, who possessed twelve qualities of practice, came to listen to the Dharma. When Atisha began to teach about the absence of self in persons, they were able to accept it. However, when he taught about the absence of self in phenomena, they remained silent, saying, "Please, it's terrifying!" When he spoke of the "five aggregates," they covered their ears. Atisha said that without compassion and the mind of enlightenment, one cannot achieve anything through mere adherence to vows. To lead such individuals into the Mahayana, the sutras state, "Subhuti, form is a sign." and so on. By stating that "form exists," the listener does not become frightened, while the speaker considers that all appearances are like a dream. Understanding from the ultimate perspective refers to the absence of inherent existence, that is, establishing characteristics on the imputed (parikalpita), establishing arising on the dependent (paratantra), and establishing ultimate absence of inherent existence on the perfected (parinispanna), thereby revealing the profound meaning of all phenomena. Understanding from the perspective of antidote: Among the thousand Buddhas, Shakyamuni Buddha's form is small, his light is only a fathom, his retinue is small, and his lifespan is short. To counteract the misconception that Shakyamuni Buddha is inferior to other Buddhas, he proclaimed the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of Vairochana Buddha, like a great snow mountain and ocean, as well as the endless wheel of ornaments, and acknowledged himself as the embodiment of all Buddhas. The listeners understand that the nature of the form body is the same, while the speaker considers that for self-benefit, one perfects the accumulations and attains the Dharmakaya; and for the benefit of others, one engages in activities for the welfare of beings, all three being equal in time. Understanding from the perspective of transformation: To dispel the slander that the ascetic Gautama teaches the Dharma without being asked, and to dispel the notion that one can attain special achievements merely through six years of ascetic practice, he said: "Profound, peaceful, free from attachment, clear light, unconditioned, nectar-like Dharma I have found. But if I were to teach it to others, they would not understand, so I will remain silent and meditate in the forest." This shows that the nature of Dharma is extremely difficult to realize. In particular, the manner of speaking by translating with contradictory meanings and words, such as: I decorate the flower moon.
