May all beings open their eyes of wisdom! Oṃ, cakṣu pra veśaya phaṭ (Sanskrit: ॐ चक्षु प्र वेशाय फट्, cakṣu pra veśaya phaṭ, meaning: Om, eye, enter, swift). Ema! Son of a fortunate lineage, you are now liberated from all sins. Behold this great mandala, generate faith in body, speech, and mind, and you shall attain all siddhis. Strive in the vows and mantras. O son of lineage, this mandala of colored powders, representing the thirty-seven dharmas of the path to enlightenment, the body of the Buddha, wisdom, symbols, and the meaning of permanence, is the palace of the deity. Internally, it represents the aggregates, elements, and sources. The wisdom deity residing therein is your own mind, the eight consciousnesses and mental factors, visualized as the sacred assembly of deities from a hundred families. This is the ritual of entry. Second is the empowerment: To the Buddhas, lords of the ten directions, holders of the vajra, I pray: For the sake of protecting beings, grant empowerment. As you display the source of qualities, so too, strive in this endeavor. The Buddhas make their intention, the Buddha Mothers make their intention, the Buddha Mothers grant empowerment, the Bodhisattvas pronounce auspiciousness, the Bodhisattva Mothers perform dances, the Wrathful Ones dispel obstacles. All of these rejoice in the act of empowerment. The disciple is visualized as Akshobhya, and the vase is raised: Hūṃ! May the aggregate of consciousness be completely purified, purifying the afflictive emotion of hatred, the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, grant the glorious empowerment of the heart. Oṃ vajra abhiṣiñca hūṃ (Sanskrit: ॐ वज्र अभिषिञ्च हुम्, oṃ vajra abhiṣiñca hūṃ, meaning: Om, vajra, empower, hūṃ). Son of lineage, through the water empowerment of Akshobhya, all obscurations of the mind are purified, and you receive the empowerment of the hearts of all Buddhas. The aggregate of consciousness is liberated as Vajra Akshobhya, the water element is liberated as Mamaqi Buddha Mother, and hatred is transformed into the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Therefore, the intention of the Buddhas of the Vajra family is without error, and you will accomplish the benefit of beings. The disciple is visualized as Ratnasambhava, and the crown is taken up: Hūṃ! May the aggregate of feeling be completely purified, purifying the afflictive emotion of pride, the wisdom of equality, grant the glorious empowerment of qualities.
