Looking down, there were cliffs rooted in the Popo River. There was no other way, so I said to my friends, "You carry the cargo and go slowly, and I will scare him and let us pass without hindrance." I knocked on the door violently. The guard, with an angry expression, asked what was going on and acted threateningly. I said that we were the reincarnation of the Dzogchen Rinpoche of Kham, going to U-Tsang, and that we were going to see King Poka Nam as messengers in order to return to Powo. I said, "Then my friends are here, let's both go to see the King of Powo," but he wouldn't listen. I said, "Then you don't have to go either. Let my companions watch you. Anyway, I'm not going to see the king." After saying that, I left, and he was very scared, as if he was going to persuade me to come back, and that's how it went. After that, we encountered some similar situations, and we dealt with them in the same way, and nothing went wrong. After that, we entered a forest path away from the guards.
