The Tsen and Yaksha of those places created obstacles, so the great teacher urged the Ten Wrathful Ones, causing them both to go mad. To subdue them, eight hundred thousand stupas were built below Mad Tang, and when they arrived at a place called "Boundary," they left footprints on a square stone and made the following prayer: One day, in the degenerate age, may my wrathful deity assembly, when the Buddhist teachings decline, go forth with weapons! Having made this prayer, even now, the footprints of "Boundary" are still famous. All beings who have faith in it will not be afflicted by sudden events and obstacles. After that, they went up to Gungthang Gyunda, where the Tsen of Gungthang and the guardian deity Pal Zung blew wind and snow. To dispel these, they waved their Dharma robes, and the snow was blown back. To subdue them, they built a black stupa, subdued them with fierce actions, and bound them by oath. After that, when they arrived at Lingpa Rong, the Naga demon there attacked with rocks, presuming to obstruct the teacher, but by fiercely igniting the flames of Samadhi, they burned down his dwelling, and unable to bear it, they bound him by oath and took his life essence. After that, for the water called "See and Poison," which causes death merely by seeing or smelling it, they extracted medicinal water on top of it, turning the poisonous water into medicinal water, and even now, there actually exists a place called "Longevity Water Spring." It is said that the red rock of Lingpa was burned by fire at that time. They stayed in Gungthang for three months, burying many treasures in all the mountains and rivers. After that, when the three welcoming people arrived, they invited the teacher on the way to Tibet, subduing gods, demons, and humans. When they arrived at the Zhangxung war god Mun Dzarma, he tried to夹击 the teacher and his entourage between two mountains, but when they traveled on the path of the sky, she felt ashamed and offered her life essence. They named the great mother of the snowy land Vajra Yu Bunma, and when they arrived at Namthang, the sky goddess White Ming attacked with lightning. Guru poured water into the palm of his left hand and caught the lightning. With a swooshing sound, the lightning fell and turned into seven bean-sized objects, made into seven thunderbolt arrows, wrapped around his fingers, and destroyed her dwelling glacier.

On that mountain, fearing the melting snow, she fled to Lake Pal Tso. When she fled, Guru visualized Lake Pal Tso as a sea of fire. The lake boiled, and the demoness separated her own flesh and bones, appearing on the shore. He threw the vajra from his hand, cutting off one guiding eye. He stole her life essence, named her Gangkar Shamema (meaning "meatless white snow"), and after making a vow, he proceeded through places like Rulak, subduing gods and demons while making vows. Coming from the central region of Tibet, he manifested in dual forms, subduing the demons of O-yuk and the northern regions. In a place called O-yuk Tremo Na, the twelve guardian goddesses who protect Tibet shot down twelve arrows. When the master and his retinue arrived in the mountains, they made a threatening gesture. The twelve arrows were turned into twelve pieces of coal, and out of fear, they each fled to their respective mountain peaks. The great master chased after them, collapsing the mountains. He threatened all the dwelling places of the guardian goddesses with the fire of wisdom and heavenly iron thunderbolts, causing them to lose courage. The twelve guardian goddesses, the twelve protecting goddesses, and the twelve Yema goddesses together offered their life essence. He commanded them to take vows and bestowed secret names. He entrusted them with the management of treasures and commanded them to protect Tibet. Among them, there was a demoness who harbored malice towards the Dharma. After she was subdued, a stupa was built to suppress her. After that, when they arrived at U-yuk Jédzong Kha, the great being Vajrasadhu, along with three hundred and sixty attendants, greeted them and made offerings. In the blue temple, they built a statue of Dorje Lekpa (Vajra Good) and consecrated it. After that, when they arrived at a place called Chepu Shampo Lung, Zodor Yarla Shampo himself transformed into a white yak as large as a mountain. His breath from his mouth and nose was like a cloud, and he roared like a dragon, causing heavenly iron and hailstones to fall violently. The great master Padmasambhava, with the iron hook mudra, seized his nose. With a rope, he bound his neck. With the iron chain mudra, he bound his four limbs. With the bell mudra, he squeezed and beat his body, transforming him into a boy dressed in white silk. He offered his life essence and took a vow. After that, when they arrived at a place called Nam, seeing the vaporous smoke rising like water vapor, he said, "Here are many transient beings of hell, how pitiful!"
