Having prepared vast offerings, the great king himself bathed, adorned himself with clean clothes, and repeatedly prayed to the gods of the four directions. Generating a mind of benefiting others, he made the following prayer: 'If this precious jewel that I have obtained is indeed a wish-fulfilling jewel, may it shower down great rains of needs and desires upon all sentient beings.' As soon as he spoke, breezes from the four directions swept the ground clean, and upon it, first fell a rain of hundreds of delicious foods, and then a rain of clothes and riches, eliminating the suffering of hunger, cold, and poverty. The king then proclaimed to all his subjects: 'From now on, you must abandon non-virtuous deeds and practice the ten virtues, especially the Dharma of the Great Vehicle.' After the king's command, everyone generated the supreme mind of enlightenment and attained the irreversible stage of Buddhahood. Then, the incarnate prince, considering that if he were to hold the throne, he would not be able to accomplish the benefit of beings, together with the king, ministers, and retinue, began to practice asceticism in order to dispel attachment. At that time, the kings, princes, and ministers of the nine great regions of Oddiyana (Udyana, approximately 7th-8th century AD in present-day Pakistan) and the eighteen kotis of great cities, all gathered to watch, the spectators were like the rising sun. All the assembled powerful warriors competed in strength, and no one could defeat him. Especially in archery competitions, he could shoot a large arrow into the eye of a needle, and he could shoot a small arrow through a bronze door and seven iron doors a yojana (approximately 7-11 miles) away without obstruction. He could also string together and shoot thirteen arrows in a single line. At that time, the prince was known as the King of Warriors. Furthermore, he could throw a boulder the size of a yak a yojana away, and he could also load nine iron stones into a sling and strike the demon rock bird fortress, destroying its top, displaying many miracles. He had the strength to circle a city with nine pinnacles three times in a single breath. He was unmatched in archery and speed, and he could outrun fish swimming in the water. He caught eagles with lassos and rode lions, tigers, bears, etc., displaying various miracles. Therefore, the prince was known as the Invincible Lion. The prince intended to renounce and practice to benefit the Dharma and beings, but the king did not allow it, before

From the center of the Mar (Tibetan place name) Sea to the palace, When being invited, at a certain point on the road, A young son of a couple, Due to the crime of killing a playmate child, Was not allowed to return to his own home, Seeing this, he thought the time for blessing had come, At the top of the palace, with naked manifestation, Wearing bone ornaments, right hand holding a hand drum, Left hand holding a trident, While performing various dances in nine postures, A large crowd gathered to watch the dance, One day, by pretending to drop the khaṭvāṃga, He struck the head of the son of the wicked minister Kāmatā, When he died from being struck by the khaṭvāṃga, Because the king's law was very strict, The ministers gathered and reported to the king, Although this child was enthroned as king, He killed the minister's son with improper conduct, Even if he is a prince, at the top of the execution ground, He must be punished and executed, The king said with euphemistic words, Is this person the son of a non-human? Or an incarnation, I do not know, Since he killed, it is best to exile him, The ministers discussed and said in the chilling charnel ground, He must be exiled to that terrifying place. After that, although the king was very unhappy, He had no choice due to the strictness of the king's law, The prince was invited to the front and given food, While eating, the king said this, From the stem of the lotus in the center of the precious sea, An incarnate child without parents, Although the throne was given to you because there was no son, The prince's actions killed the minister's child, The ministers, according to the king's law, Although they said to execute, exile was allowed, Now go to the place where you are comfortable, The king himself also shed tears, After that, the prince offered the essence of the food, To his father and reported like this, In this world, although parents are rare, I relied on my father and mother to occupy the throne, Due to the retribution of karma, I killed the minister's child, It is good if I am exiled because the king's law is strict, Because there is no birth or death in my mind, I am not afraid, Because I have no attachment to my homeland, I am not sad, May my father and mother live in peace forever, Due to the connection of karma, we will meet again later.
