This profound instruction was given with a strict order not to be disclosed to anyone other than Minister Nyima. The master bestowed the instruction solely upon the minister, and through practice, realization of accomplishment manifested. Beings destined to be burned were led to the path of liberation, resulting in extraordinary signs. Thereafter, this profound instruction was written on palm leaves with Guru Rinpoche's vermillion seal, bound with the hair of Yeshe Tsogyal, the chief of the dakinis, and placed in a treasure box made of four precious substances, arranged in inner and outer layers. It was then wrapped in blue silk and bestowed, hidden as a treasure in the center of what is known as the Black Mandala Lake, behind Daglha Gampo (present-day Mozhugongka County, Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region), and the Naga King Tsukna Rinchen was appointed as the guardian of the treasure. It was said, 'In the future, until the treasure revealer Nyida Sangye appears, do not entrust it to anyone.' When the time came to reveal the treasure, Minister Nyima offered a pair of gold and silver sun and moon-shaped objects as a symbolic offering to request this instruction. Thus, the one known as the treasure revealer Nyida Sangye appeared when the time was ripe, extracted this profound Dharma from the treasure, and placed all beings dwelling in that lake, including the nagas and even the smallest creatures, on the path of liberation appropriate to their capacity. This is indeed due to the blessing of this profound Dharma alone. As stated in the Sutra path, it takes three countless eons to achieve enlightenment, while the mantra path states that liberation can be attained in one lifetime, one body. The vow of one lifetime, one body in mantra also has many aspects, such as the substances of tasting liberation, the wheel of wearing liberation, the mudra (Sanskrit: mudrā) of touching liberation, the mandala (Sanskrit: cakra) of seeing liberation, and the phowa of hearing liberation, and so on. The Exoteric and Esoteric teachings each have their own distinct qualities. Merely hearing the name of Medicine Buddha eliminates the suffering of falling into the lower realms, and reciting the name of Ratnaketu into the ear of a dying person results in rebirth in the Thirty-Three Heavens. Wearing the ring wheel eliminates the fear and suffering of the bardo, and so forth. There are many profound and special instructions in both the new and old tantras, but surpassing all of these is the swift path of the phowa practice, the instruction for forcibly enlightening even the most sinful. It is crucial to generate faith and reverence and listen to this instruction. As stated in the 'Namasangiti,' in just a single moment, one can

Thus, "In a single instant, one attains perfect Buddhahood." Furthermore, from the Tantra King Sambhuti: "From above the nine orifices, If one immediately performs transference with the mind, Even those who kill Brahmins daily, And commit the five inexpiable sins, And delight in killing sentient beings, Will be liberated by this path." It is said that no matter how much the heap of sins there is, it can be purified. The power is a special quality of mantra. From the glorious Kalachakra Tantra: "Outcasts, bamboo workers, and so on, Those who commit the five inexpiable sins, If they practice according to the conduct of mantra, In this very life, they will become Buddhas." This is a general special quality of secret mantra. In particular, the special quality of the actual transference is: From the Hevajra Root Tantra: "Whatever is bliss is death, That bliss is called contemplation." It is said that bliss is attained through the power of transference. And also, from the Vajrasana Four Tantras: "Even if one is stained by all faults, One is liberated by applying the practice of transference. One is not stained by sins at all, One goes beyond samsara to the supreme state." Like this, in both new and old mantras, the excellent qualities and benefits of transference are widely spoken of, so generate faith and devotion. Thirdly: When that deceased person is about to lose their breath, if you yourself are near the pillow, this profound instruction is very important, so in a state of equanimity: "Oh, (female term of address), in your heart, visualize the letter AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: āḥ, literal meaning: Ah), or it can also be transformed into visualizing the letter HRIH (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hrīḥ, literal meaning: Hrih)." Meditate on a white one, and as we recite the stacked sound of A, may you recognize the meaning of the symbol. Visualize that AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: āḥ, literal meaning: Ah) going like a great arrow shot into the pure land of Sukhavati." Say this, and mainly focus your own intention, and then recite the AH of their age sweetly. After that, pull the crown hair, and recite the stacked AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: āḥ, literal meaning: Ah) twenty-one times, leading them to the higher realms. From the Union of Sun and Moon: "By the union of the letter AH, Combine the breath and its age. If they do not die from that, Then with the breath facing the crown of the head, The consciousness also in the middle of the body, Visualize the letter A and gather it." And, when the ritual is complete in this way, If that person has not yet stopped breathing, Then with the letter and the breath combined, Without doubt, abide and purify. When the stages of dissolution appear, exhale.
