If the benefit of generating faith even once is so great, then since you are also born in a pure land where the Victorious One's teachings exist, and you have heard the name of the Buddha, and you are fortunate enough to receive breath from his treasury of teachings, you should generate surpassing faith in the Teacher, the Thus-Gone-One! Take refuge in the sacred Dharma! Invite the Bodhisattva Sangha as companions! In particular, even by entering into his name, sound, and view, he has promised to completely cut off the fear of the bardo and the seeds of the lower realms. Therefore, do not forget the Bhagavan, the Protector Amitabha (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མགོན་པོ་འོད་དཔག་མེད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन् अमिताभ, Sanskrit Romanization: Bhagavan Amitābha, Literal Chinese Meaning: World-Honored One, Protector, Immeasurable Light) and the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, and the complete reliance on Mahāsthāmaprāpta, and that pure land of his called Sukhavati, because you have passed away from the body of flesh and blood. Remember the Yidam and the view! Now is the time to plant the seed of the transference Dharma, which is to attain Buddhahood without cultivating meaningful interdependence as the key point! Say this. The second part is: The history of how this profound path of transference instruction arose: In the past, King Trisong Detsen (reigned 755-797) invited the likeness of the Teacher Shakyamuni, the master Padmasambhava of Oddiyana, and when they were residing in the upper part of Samye Monastery, Chimphu, there was a minister named Nyima, who was a top expert in worldly affairs. In order to take out items from his residence, he was holding a burning torch at night, searching the corners of the house, and as a result, a fire broke out in the storage room, burning down a temple, both parents, about thirty servants, and all the wealth such as horses, cattle, sheep, etc. When the minister was overwhelmed by unbearable suffering, the king told the great master in detail about the situation, and requested that Minister Nyima be freed from suffering.
