Sixth, it is an offense to build a house for oneself that exceeds eighteen cubits in length and eleven and a half cubits in width. Whether built by oneself or commissioned to others, it is an offense once the walls are erected and the roof is covered. Seventh, it is to build for the purpose of providing for a sangha of four or more people. This is obtained through effort from others, and unlike the house that exceeds the limit, it does not need to become an appendage. Eighth, for monks who practice the same Brahmacharya, without seeing, hearing, or suspecting anything, to publicly announce words of insult through any of the four defeats (parajikas), and for the recipient to understand it. Ninth, for other monks, using a slight slander as a reason, to insult them through the implication of words in the manner of a defeat, and for the recipient to understand it. Tenth, in the same assembly place, monks who possess vows separate the sangha that should be distinguished from themselves because the two are not in accordance with the Dharma. Eleventh, those monks who participate in the division of the sangha, aligning their thoughts and actions with them, and not abandoning the five methods of reconciliation. Twelfth, engaging in games and eating and drinking with women, etc., causing laypeople to be disgusted by bad behavior that violates the precepts, expelling them from their residence, or participating in the sangha that expels them, engaging in insults with the words of the four expulsions, and not abandoning the five methods of reconciliation. Thirteenth, for a monk who has committed an offense that is being discussed and remembered, and who is attached to it, to urge them to reform for the sake of the sangha, but to say, "Whether you are good or bad, do not say anything to us," thereby falling into the basis of displeasure, and not abandoning the fifth method of reconciliation. These five methods of reconciliation are: respectful exhortation, the sangha's request, and being related to the three actions. The thirty Nissaggiya Pacittiyas and so on are only briefly listed in terms of numbers; detailed content should be consulted in the scriptures, as I am afraid of the text becoming too long and unable to explain it in detail here. Apart from that, although it is not the appropriate time, there are ninety Pacittiyas alone, as well as the four classes of Patidesaniya, and one hundred and twelve Dukkata, etc., all added together, totaling two hundred and fifty-three types of offenses. Beyond that, there is even more.

There are three hundred and sixty-four rules for monks, among which the root of each, the four or eight defeats, and for gross offenses, there are differences in accordance. Defeat of vows is like abandoning a tree pulled out from the roots, so the boundary of whether or not the vows can be restored in the future lies in the concealing mind, that is, whether or not the thought of concealing what vows have been manifested and proclaimed arises. It is ridiculous to presume to keep vows without knowing what should be kept. Merely knowing the transgressions can make up for the faults, and the confession of transgressions is easy. Moreover, the nature of the four doors through which transgressions arise is considered to be ignorance. The precepts for practice are those that arise from the three-part ritual. In this treatise, apart from the four defeats and the thirteen remaining, a total of seventeen, the blessing instruction for improper enjoyment is: If one must consume untimely food, one should imagine that one's dwelling is an island of unpleasant sounds. Similarly, if one must perform residual bathing, one should perceive oneself as a patient. For residual clothing, such as inappropriate colors, one should wear white clothing instead of what is not allowed. If one must hold inappropriate items such as leather, one should think that it is allowed because one is poor and destitute and in order to protect one's life. Touching precious objects, one should contemplate that it is allowed for the sake of offering to the Three Jewels and saving sentient beings. Moreover, those categories for which there is neither permission nor prohibition should be considered to be in accordance with both. The Sarvastivadins, the Mahasanghikas, the Sthaviras, and the Mahasamghikas, for all the precepts of these four great schools, it is impossible that they are not encompassed by the ordinances of the omniscient teacher, therefore, one has dominion over all the precepts. Dedicating to Nirvana is a superior morality, and benefiting others is the Bodhisattva vow of practice. Obtaining genuine empowerment, that is, receiving the order of the four empowerments as they are spoken by an experienced lama, one obtains the vows of mantra. Thus, if all three vows are complete, then all the precepts and qualities increase more and more, thereby becoming superior, and when the three vows converge in one entity, the entity
