When arising, the essence does not go beyond one's own mind, and the three vows of Pratimoksha, Bodhisattva, and Mantra exist in different aspects within the continuum of the same person. If internal conflicts arise, then from Pratimoksha to Bodhisattva vows, from Bodhisattva vows to Mantra vows, i.e., prioritizing the higher one, this is known as the tradition of the previous scholars and realized beings. Although it may seem that the lower Pratimoksha is contradictory in form, both abandoning harm and increasing benefit are the same in meaning. If something is contradictory, it is not allowed; if it is allowed, it cannot be contradictory, this is the subject. Like this, those who abide in the vows of the Hearers will have downfalls, and those who abide in the training of Bodhisattvas, the faults that were previously the same and in some ways consistent, will become the wine of the three hundred and sixty peaceful and wrathful deities manifested by the practitioner who uses the samaya substances of the Secret Mantra vehicle, and the thought of wanting to drink, both of these are transforming. When not in the midst of bad discriminations of taking and abandoning, that person is neither a monk nor a Bodhisattva, nor is he separated from the attachment and abandonment of means, nor is he oppressed by the power of afflictions, but visualizes all appearances as deities and mandalas, and the nature of the samaya substance nectar to be enjoyed. It is allowed for the person who abides in this transformation of consciousness. Offering the Pratimoksha and Bodhisattva monks to the Sangha is not as good as offering to the mandala of the Yidam, which will increase merit even more. Other parts of the training should also be understood in this way. However, the respective differences are not mixed, i.e., the three of Pratimoksha, Bodhisattva vows, and Mantra, the object from which the vows are taken, the intention with which the vows are taken, the ritual of how the vows are taken, etc., cannot have a common basis, and each holds different characteristics, so the respective differences are not mixed. The necessary conditions for prohibition are: what is prohibited is affliction, the necessary condition is not being bound by it, and the respective paths are the same in the way that in Pratimoksha it is abandoned, in Bodhisattva vows it is transformed, and in Mantra it is used as the path. The transformation of essence is clearly understood in the context of Mantra, and the increase of qualities is: all the trainings of Pratimoksha and Bodhisattva vows are gathered into common and individual samayas at the time of Mantra, and on the grasp of method and complete purity, it contradicts the knowable.

Because there is not even a speck of fault or defilement, all virtues are completely and fully assembled. The key non-contradiction lies in: In the case of Pratimoksha vows, one must protect the four root vows, etc., in that manner; in the case of Bodhisattva vows, one must primarily focus on benefiting others, so the protection and guarding should also be in that manner; in the case of Mantra, one must know that the three circles of purity are the nature of the generation stage and completion stage. As for which to practice primarily at what time, in general, from the initial practitioner to the Lord of Yoga, one must also practice in relation to time, based on one's own experience. In short, for the initial practitioner, those who have truly matured on the path, and those who have attained accomplishment, the conduct of those different stages of omniscience should be adopted and abandoned without mixing them up. Furthermore, those who engage in examining the limits of accomplishment believe that "the essence of the changing place is one," which refers to the liberation of the continuum through the realization of the Great Perfection; and believing that "one is incompatible" means that although the meaning of wisdom is one, from the perspective of perception, they believe that the basis is incompatible and different. Believing that "the three are materially contradictory and progressive" means that the individual who has perfected the three vows thinks that there are separate levels of mind, but in terms of knowledge, because of material contradiction, the higher skillful means cannot overwhelm the lower vows, because the Pratimoksha vows taken by the inferior mind will be transformed into the moral discipline of the Bodhisattva's transgressions. Distinguishing from the boundary between abandonment and attainment means that there is no definite certainty for the object of negation in place and time. If one believes that it is so in all places, at all times, and in all circumstances, then if one obtains the higher vows, one should abandon the lower vows. If one argues in this way, then the Bhikshu Vajradhara of Mantra will not appear, and if the four empowerments are not complete, one cannot attain Buddhahood, which is contradictory. Believing that "they are stacked like a pile of houses and not mixed" means that initially, arising from the aggregation of causes of one person, the contradictions of the three vows in the middle are not mutually exclusive, and finally, becoming a single group of accomplishments, that is, possessing the three Dharmas, therefore, it can be established under the condition that material opposition and everything before and after are not the same. Like the sequential gathering of the three, the sun, moon, and stars, it means that the light of the stars is not diminished, and the light of the sun and moon is also not diminished in their respective positions.
