In the Great Perfection, the Heart Drop of Manjushri, this is the tenth chapter, a repetition on the immovability of all dharmas from the intention of dharmata. ༈ The nature of reality is without letting go, holding, going, or coming. It is accomplished by resting in the self-nature that cannot be found by searching. Forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures of the common vehicle, the deity's form, hand implements, and external objects of appearance, channels, winds, bindus, chakras, tummo, and letters, appearing as balls of light, and so on. Rest in a blank stare in a state of non-appearance and non-thought. These are meditations with something to focus on. Although one wishes to stop grasping and fixation, it becomes grasping and fixation. Therefore, it is only a means to enter the profound meaning. Like heat in fire and moisture in water, in the natural, flowing yoga, qualities arise naturally, so at all times, meet the face of one's own awareness, the three kayas, without separation. The aspect of the place and the awareness resting in its own place, although similar in clarity and non-thought, there is no connection between the attachment to the place where the mind rests and the arising of awareness as thorough and clear. The mind's thoughts and concepts arise on objects, and the awareness's clear and luminous appearances are uninterrupted. Although the appearance of objects and consciousness are similar, awareness does not follow objects, but is thoroughly cut off at the root. The mind scatters outward onto objects, and thoughts arise. In short, all that has an object of focus is the mind of grasping and fixation. The natural awareness is the wheel of dharmata. The former leads to samsara, the latter to liberation. Realizing rigpa-emptiness nakedly is without error. Realizing the direct perception of the senses is free from thought and analysis. Awareness is thoroughly pure, so it transcends words. Whatever appears is the appearance of the three kayas on the path, free from clinging to certainty. Thoroughly seeing view, meditation, conduct, result, and obscurations. Resting the mind, resting in peace, and vipashyana, are far superior with their many distinctions, without reliance. From refutation, affirmation, mind-grasping, and all contrived activities, when rigpa-emptiness emerges nakedly, the essence is unmoved, not taking it back, not scattering it outward, not bound by meditation. Penetrate awareness with the four ways of resting naturally and thoroughly, and the awareness of the three samadhis. Like the planets and stars in the ocean unmoved by the wind, appearing without being moved or stained by the water, awareness is thoroughly clear, and the field of appearance is uninterrupted. Whatever arises is not corrupted by grasping, in a clear and transparent state. Without scattering or gathering, without hope or fear, resting like the ocean is the practice of intention. Some say that resting is the means of spontaneous accomplishment of trekchö. That very statement is a biased mind.

This thorough awareness on the path of Tögal, is said to be the wisdom that is naked and free from the delusion of existence. Also, placing the radiance of awareness on the continuous stream, the key is to place it on the thorough nakedness. In the state of clear awareness, like an ocean, recognizing awareness as naked at all times, without moving from that, without boundaries between inside and outside, the nature of reality manifests as one, profound in both beginning and end. Appearances are cut off at once, the secret lies in appearances, not binding them with attachment, appearances are naturally free. Without accepting or rejecting, in a state without distinction, perceiving the objects without obstruction, aware and without thought. Without dwelling or obstructing, in self-clarity and self-arising, awareness abides without being obscured by thoroughness. Experiencing the non-duality of appearance and awareness as one taste, whatever appearance arises, recognize awareness as thorough. Recognizing the severance of the connection of the three times, the self-arising intention, the spontaneously accomplished clear light, not thinking about the past, not contemplating the future, not judging the present, in the state of thorough nakedness, without moving, without elaborating, without grasping, abide in that state. Past, future, and present mind, the three poisons, the three times, and whatever Buddhas, without making them the object of clinging and grasping, let it fall into the vast expanse of co-emergence. The unchanging nature of reality from the beginning, the non-duality of appearance and mind, naturally abiding in samadhi, like an unmoving mountain amidst the arising and moving of circumstances, rest in the intention of the heart of the supreme secret, Kuntuzangpo. The body is in vajra posture, the eyes are fixed in space, consciousness is without expansion or contraction, placed clearly. The essence of thorough awareness is unmoving, appearances and mind increase and decrease, but are originally all-encompassing. Self-abiding samadhi, beyond view, meditation, action, and result, even if transcended, it is indicated by its name, the natural state of reality, free from distinctions, view the unseeable awareness as all-encompassing. Meditate in the state of being free from letting go and not letting go, going and coming, meditation without meditation, without distraction, is all-encompassing meditation. The clear expanse, transcending all actions, action without action is all-encompassing action. Primordially the Dharmakaya is spontaneously accomplished, without effort, its meaning spontaneously abiding is the all-encompassing result. Thus, the meaning of the four: view, meditation, action, and result, not being deluded by appearances, appearances adorn themselves. Self-dissolving without trace, action is thorough, the inner moving mind, the unobstructed play of non-thought, self-face, self-pure, self-clear, the expanse of the ocean, without meditating in the state of non-duality and equality, naturally abide in the gathering of samadhi.
