The mantra spoken as follows: 'Om Tib so Tib so Bhra wa Tib so, Gyuna Gyuna Shela Gyuna, Gramana Gramana Shela Gramana, Shiksa Shiksa Tsil lo Tsil lo Te Te Zhiwar Gyur Chig Svaha.' Firstly, in a clean and secluded place, tie red silk to the ends of the four petals of a mandala lotus, and erect it on a platform one hand-span high as a support. Set up a vase, offer white torma, create boundaries, take refuge and generate bodhicitta, and meditate on non-conceptuality. With great compassion for all sentient beings and the sick, visualize the red syllable Ram (藏文:རྃ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Fire) in the space in front, and as you verbally recite Ram (藏文:རྃ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Fire), it dissolves into yourself. In an instant, you become a black Brahmin, with a large nose and high cheekbones, triangular eyes that are red and deep, glaring. The beard and mustache are yellow, reaching to the chest. Naked, the hair is red-yellow, blazing like fire, and stands upright. The flesh is dry and wrinkled with anger. The right hand holds a human skull, and the left hand holds a fire lasso with a threatening gesture. Sparks of fire radiate from the face and body. Seated in a blazing fire, light radiates from the mouth, burning away all sickness, evil spirits, and obscurations. Visualize this and recite the mantra one hundred thousand times or as much as possible. While reciting the mantra, do not eat blood, spleen, or garlic. Observe silence and avoid poultry. The sick person should be cleansed before being blessed. During the work, if the illness is severe, create boundaries and recite the mantra extensively. Before blessing the mantra, pray to all the Lamas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas to bless my speech. This mantra was translated from Chinese by Vairochana, and it is also a teaching from the Brahmin Chokse, found in the Sanskrit texts of Jowoje Atisha. It also comes from the mantra of the 'Thought Gathering Without Walls' of the great treasure revealer Sangye Lingpa. In the 'Nectar Essence Limb Benefit Mantra White Treasure', the mantra 'Om Usha Nagpo Gyim, Sod Sod Chod Chod Dul Dul Nann Nann' is attached to the beginning of the above mantra and recited three hundred thousand times. Reciting the forty-one syllables from 'Om Tib So' onwards six hundred thousand times is said to complete the preliminary practice well. In the 'Thought Gathering Without Walls' it says, 'In emptiness, one instantly becomes Orgyen Padmasambhava, like a Brahmin of meteoric iron, like a hail of fierce mantras falling, called the Nine Gatherings. The body is black, with one face and two arms, angrily gnashing teeth. The right hand holds a sharp razor pointed at the illness, the left hand holds a kapala bowl, the right leg is bent, and the left leg is extended.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
