The actual practice that follows consists of four parts: deity generation, invitation, offering, and recitation. First, to generate the deity, one must first meditate on the three samadhis: First, settle the mind in the dharmadhatu of the great equality of one's own mind nature: Hūṃ! The nature of pure bodhicitta, Is primordially unborn, originally pure, without beginning or end, Non-abiding, non-fixated, free from elaboration, Inexpressible, beyond thought, perfected in the sphere of equality. Oṃ mahā śūnyatā jñāna vajra svābhāva ātmako'haṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, I am emptiness) For sentient beings who have not realized this, settle the mind in the unobstructed manifestation of great compassion, the all-pervading dark blue-black light: Everything is the essence of bodhicitta, Although there is not a single atom of grasping or fixation, Yet effortlessly, spontaneously, because the dharmadhatu is unobstructed, The illusory mudras are clear in every way. Dharma dhātu svābhāva ātmako'haṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, I am the dharmadhatu) From the seed syllable Hūṃ of one's own mind, light radiates and gathers, visualizing a vajra, and from that, a wisdom being, dark blue-black, one face, two arms, of moderate stature: In the dharmata realm, all become Buddhas, In the state of unborn great bliss, one taste, Yet through the blessings of the miraculous birth, Self-awareness, wisdom, and dharmakaya manifest. Vajra citta Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Vajra mind Hūṃ) From the heart of the wisdom being, the seed syllables E, etc., radiate, generating the supporting and supported deities: E! Although Samantabhadra is inseparable from the bindu, Yet in order to liberate beings from the delusion of samsara, All beings of the six realms, and my own nature, The mind is without beginning or end, like the expanse of space, The breath is the generating wind, filled with black vajra, Water is the purifying agent, washing away the stains of habitual patterns, Form is the unobstructed appearance, holding the supreme sign of the mudra, Warmth is the stirring fire, burning the seeds of habitual patterns, In the three realms, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, The unobstructed five syllables radiate and gather, The miraculous manifestations of the five precious families, the five elements, Become the stable support for raising the palace. E Ya Ra Suṃ Keṃ Raṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, E Ya Ra Suṃ Keṃ Raṃ) E transforms into the sky, without beginning or end, Ya transforms into the mandala of wind, Ra transforms into the waves of the ocean of blood, Suṃ transforms into the great earth, Keṃ transforms into the stacked Mount Meru of bones, Raṃ transforms into the blazing fire. E Agni Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, E Fire Mandala) Ya Karma Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Ya Karma Mandala) Ra Rakta Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Ra Blood Mandala) Suṃ Tikṣṇa Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Suṃ Sharp Mandala) Keṃ Nirti Jvāla Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Keṃ Corpse Jvāla Mandala) Raṃ Jvāla Maṇḍala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Raṃ Flame Mandala) Hūṃ! From Bhrūṃ arises the palace of Bandha, Endowed with nine great palaces, The mandala is clear and bright, without inner or outer, In its center is the seat of the arrogant sun and moon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
