Although there are many who specialize in Tummo yoga, such as Ruka, the master, and Nagpopa, if one knows the essential points of the path created by the great accomplished ones without error, then no matter what one practices, one can achieve the innate bliss without any difference. Among them, in the 'Union Tantra,' it says, 'The root sown within it has the nature of sesame oil lamp,' etc., which briefly reveals the spring bindu. The meaning of the detailed explanation is that the master Nagpopa, following the creator of 'Spring Bindu,' discusses the length of letters, etc., and the meaning of the way of writing letters as taught by the master Abhu: Within the small pore of the central channel bound by the knot of the heart channel, the blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable resides, the size of a mustard seed, with white light dripping like snow. This is called spring because it generates bliss when Tummo blazes. At this time, because no one can hinder the generation of bliss, it is called indestructible. The short A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) within the central channel bound by the knot of the navel chakra is the bindu. When its left and right movements cease, and the wind that extinguishes the fire stirs within the central channel of the triangular triple junction, when the fire is ignited, the Ham (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hang) syllable of the crown chakra melts and unites with the navel chakra, it transforms into both spring and bindu. Similarly, it will also change when it unites with the heart chakra. The three letters residing in the navel, heart, and throat chakras are described as the lower one being short, the middle one being two short measures, and the upper one being three short measures. Some lamas say that when the Ham syllable of the crown chakra reaches the throat chakra, because it is far from the fire, it is about one-third the size of the bindu; when it reaches the heart chakra, because it is close to the fire, one part is consumed, leaving two parts; when it reaches the navel chakra, there is only one part left. However, this is only the measure of the length of the sound, not the meaning of the size of the bindu. Therefore, as it is said, the place where sound arises: abdomen, throat, palate and tongue, nose and crown, teeth and lips. When the places where sound arises within the body meet, the short A syllable of the navel chakra, the short Hum syllable of the heart chakra are two measures, and the short O syllable of the throat chakra is about three measures, which is the expression residing within.

It is not an expression of external speech. The meaning represented by the four letters is: the navel and crown chakras represent the body, the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽) of the heart represents the mind, and the Oṃ (藏文:ཨོ,梵文天城體:ओ,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:嗡) of the throat represents speech, thus representing the three doors of a yogi. Next, the order of how to hold the object of focus is: at the end of a session where the mindstream has been trained by the common path and the generation stage has been well meditated upon, first, the three channels are clearly established: in the center of the body, slightly closer to one side, is the central channel, blue in color; the right channel, Romā, is red; the left channel, Kyangma, is white. About the size of a little finger, it extends from the crown to the soles of the feet. It should be contemplated that at the level of the navel, the center between the two breasts, and the level of the throat and hairline, Romā and Kyangma are bound to the central channel with knots. Then, even though there are many inner and outer layers of the navel chakra petals, the eight red petals in the four directions and four corners, which pierce into the central channel and have ash-colored holes, should be clearly established. In the center of the navel, contemplate the red A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城體:अ,梵文羅馬擬音:a,漢語字面意思:阿) residing on the moon, complete with bindu and nada. Then, inside the channel with the front facing east, all the letters stand upright, starting from A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城體:अ,梵文羅馬擬音:a,漢語字面意思:阿) from the outside. At the navel, place the sixteen vowel letters up to the final vowel's strong tone mark. Clockwise, in the southern channel, place the ka group of letters, in the west the ca group, and in the north the ṭa group. The intermediate directions are also clockwise, starting from the southeast, place the ta group, the pa group, and finally the four base letters and the five warm letters. It is said that the vowels in the channel face upwards and the consonants face downwards, but this refers to the letters of the central channel's navel, not the petals. Meditating by placing letters on the petals is for the purpose of gathering the winds at the center of the chakra. Meditating at the navel is for the purpose of untying the knots of the channels. If these chakras are gathered, they will be gathered into the two channels of E-vaṃ. Of the two E channels, the crown and navel are triangular in shape. The vaṃ channel also has two channels, the throat and heart are round in shape. All the letters are red in color, slightly radiant, adorned with bindu and nada, and it should be contemplated that the bodhicitta drips down like milk. Mainly
