Even though countless stages of healing and grace have been bestowed, no one has emerged who can be compared to the scholars of the Indian holy land, whether in terms of innate talent or acquired practice. Therefore, the great master Je Tsongkhapa, with unparalleled wisdom and compassion, devoted himself to widely spreading the true essence of the Buddha's teachings. In the context of reasoning, he thoroughly explained the difficult points in the teachings and commentaries of the Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidhamma, the three pitakas, and profound treatises, such as the commentary on the Root Verses on the Vinaya and the Lamrim Chenmo (Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path). In particular, regarding the lifeblood of views such as the Root Verses on the Middle Way and the Introduction to the Middle Way, he saw that Tibetans mostly fell into some extreme in their understanding of profound meaning, or fell into the abyss of the unstated, like a cliff. Few truly understood the reality of the Middle Way and the secrets of the two truths. Therefore, he believed that the essence of the doctrine was the view, and for this key point, one must seek through long-term listening, discern through thinking, experience through meditation, and diligently engage in scriptural and logical research. Surpassing others in understanding, thinking, and experience, even if one were like the sun in the midst of stars, that alone would not be enough to establish the profound doctrine. Therefore, he thought it necessary to diligently pray and ask questions to Manjushri, and relying on the immaculate words of the holy ones, he composed commentaries on these two treatises, which became the only treatises that unerringly established the thought of Nagarjuna and his son. Therefore, followers of the Buddha's teachings should regard this as the core. Relying on the supreme deity Manjushri as a lifelong yidam is also like regarding him as a companion for this meaning alone. Similarly, the Maitreya's Five Treatises, represented by the Abhisamayalankara, and the commentaries on Dharmakirti's treatises on valid cognition, as well as the immeasurable good explanations that fully possess all the causes and conditions for complete enlightenment, and especially in the context of the Result Vajrayana, beginning with the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Mantra Path, the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra, namely Guhyasamaja, etc.

Primarily focusing on the explanations of the Kalachakra Tantra, including the definitive interpretations of the profound tantras of the three bases, paths, and results, such as the four classes of tantras. Also included are oral instructions on the generation and completion stages, and pithy instructions of secret teachings. Not only in Tibet, but even among the great scholars of India, such rare and excellent explanations, exceedingly marvelous, good, and numerous, have not appeared, and these are elaborated upon. Thus, in both Sutra and Tantra, it is not merely a common approach, but in every aspect, directly and indirectly, using few words to express profound meanings. In particular, the key points of profound and difficult subjects are laid bare, as if stirred up from the depths of the ocean. The doors to wonders are countless. In short, every single word expresses the essence of profound and vast meaning, and nothing else is sought. Moreover, from the Mātrika Vinaya Sutra to the Great Secret Vajrayana, all aspects of view, meditation, and conduct in the scriptures, Vinaya, Abhidharma, Tantras, transmissions, and oral instructions are related to it. Apart from that, most of the so-called "Collected Works" consist of scattered compositions such as praises, prayers, and letters, and mostly ritual arrangements like liturgical texts. Even the texts of Torma offerings and ransom rituals are different from those compiled in Tibet, needless to say. Regarding other profound views, hundreds and thousands of scholars, past and present, have made various explanations with whatever skill they have in logic and intelligence. However, even the commonly circulated Tibetan texts cannot be compared in the slightest to the faultless and virtuous nature in terms of both words and meaning. This can be understood by those who are impartial and possess wisdom. Furthermore, even in the subtle points of excellent explanations, when those who have become exemplary scholars measure with immaculate reasoning, they become increasingly profound and subtle, just like the Buddha's teachings. As it is manifest and becoming manifest, the profound and vast methods of the Buddhas' teachings and commentaries are all condensed into the secret essence of oral instructions, which is beyond dispute. Those who are impartial and possess the eye of Dharma will unanimously agree.
