The rare and precious treatises of Kyechokpa, the King of Dharma of the three realms, the glorious Tsongkhapa the Great, are like inexhaustible treasures of Dharma even today. To speak of them briefly, there are three parts: a brief praise of the greatness of the author of the treatises; a brief mention of the outline of the treatises he composed; and a discussion of how to enhance their meaning. First, for those Tathagatas who have become the masters of Kyechok, the great beings who have attained the ultimate realization of enlightenment for their own benefit, and who constantly manifest the conduct of great wisdom for the benefit of others, they are unparalleled achievers. As the Avatamsaka Sutra says, "Having attained the ocean of enlightenment, in order to ripen the ocean of sentient beings, they constantly show the ocean of enlightened conduct. Such are the manifestations of the Tathagatas." Therefore, this great being also possesses four qualities from beginningless time, manifesting and realizing the Dharmakaya, and possessing five certainties, arranging the cloud-ocean of the Sambhogakaya pure land. For those sentient beings who are deluded and subject to the power of others, he tames them with various emanations and inspires them with unsurpassed great enlightenment. He constantly turns the wheel of Dharma in an instant in as many realms as there are dust particles, possessing the same power and majesty as all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who reside in the ten directions and countless worlds. As the scriptures say, "This Lobsang Drakpa is an emanation of all the Buddhas." Therefore, the liberation of one who possesses such a nature is an inconceivable state. As the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son says, "The path of birds can be measured in the sky, the ocean can be measured with a bottle, Mount Meru can be weighed on a scale, but the qualities of the Buddha cannot be exhausted." As the scripture says, even the wisdom of the noble ones cannot fully measure it, let alone those sentient beings who are blinded by the eye of wisdom by rational discrimination and are drowning in the ocean of samsara, they cannot even see the smallest part, let alone the whole?
